Haven't had a bad meal there yet and I've tried a bunch of dishes. Great thing about Rodes is if you want to casual bar meal they got you or you can go into the more upscale dining room and have that restaurante vibe.

Kid-friendliness: No problems to bring the kids. There is a kid menu.

Service is terrible, most of the staff is rude, specifically the family who owns it. Limited hours for mediocre food and service. Better places to visit in town.

Rode's has DARN good food, but the food isn't worth the price you pay for it. Worse, and unforgivably in my opinion, the coffee was outright bad.

Not undrinkably bad, and perhaps military veterans would find it palettable, but even with sweeteners, it was mid at best.

The decor was a bit baffling in some places; a giant rolling door apparently used as a wall hanging? But elsewhere, it was really nice!

And the waitpersons were absolutely wonderful; nothing in this review should be taken as an indictment on the staff. They were excellent.

All three of us had awful meals. The filet was overcooked and dry and didn't taste like a filet at all. We subbed a baked potato instead of mashed potatoes due to a dairy allergy and got charged. The vegetables and fish had no taste. Was offered a free dessert in return for an inedible steak that cost $41. Will never return here again.

Food was great. Server was great as well. Another server, Andy stopped and talked to us he was a great young man and I was especially impressed with his professionalism and positive attitude.

The potato crusted cod fish with jasmine rice & asparagus was delicious! Highly recommend.

Crab cakes taste like fish, wings drier than my grandmom, clam bake was good but entirely small portion. I will never be back one and done! This goes down as the worst food I ever had
