I have actually never dined in the restaurant but I order online at least 3-4 times a month. I am just obsessed with the food. I crave it all the time. If you haven't checked this place out, your missing out! ? Best indian food around. Everyone is always friendly if I need to call my order in as well.

Great meal at Spicy Affair. Ambiance is awesome. They had a cook call out and the owner had to cook. Staffing issues happen and as long as you explain it to everyone, it was fine. Food was great and creative. Service was great. Owner was cooking, his wife was the hostess and son a waiter. They hustled the whole time. What more can you ask for.... We will be back. Great job Spicy Affair!!!

Our first visit to Spicy Affair will be forever set in our minds as excellent. The ambience was lovely, with a great atmosphere of a soft light, high ceilings, beautiful high top tables, and comfortable seats. The food and the staff, particularly Andrew, our attentive waiter, was extremely helpful in the selections of food choices he helped us make. It was so nice beginning our meal ordering the appetizers Shrimp 65 and Gobi Manchurian. They both were delicious. For our entrees we enjoyed the Salmon Curry and the Butter (Makhani) Shrimp. Both entrees were done to perfection. We will be back again and again!

The food here is so good my friends and I have become addicted. Seriously, every time I've ever brought somebody here they (we) cannot stop raving. My one buddy will just drive from Delaware for the sole purpose of grabbing some food for himself. You need this in your life, trust me.

We used to go to this restaurant before COVID, it was on the other side of the town. We like their food especially the grilled whole fish. However they don't serve it anymore. My husband ordered one of the special Masala lamb shank $30, what disappointed me was that it comes with raw salad in the same bowl, on top of a lot of plain rice. I think it will be better if they separate the salad in a little container, or a large plate with grilled vegetables, rice , and lamb shank together but has their own little space in the plate. I ordered the curry beef and crispy naan. The flavor was good but very salty. The atmosphere of the restaurant looks like a night club, hardly to read the menu or see the food with the very dark blue light. The host lady and the waiter are very friendly and efficient. I had ordered their Simon curry and garlic naan to take out and it was delicious!Don't know why there is a huge snake fixture at the entrance after you enter into the restaurant. Looks like a very important symbol!

Despite the fact the it's a little pricey for the neighborhood .. the food was is quite delicious. A multitude of flavors with variety of rich curries that hit the spot! And you get pretty dang good portion sizes. Lovely staff that accommodates!
Great addition to downtown Swedesboro! Definitely make a reservation online before going through, as it can get packed.Vegetarian options: Full Vegitarian options

First off the bank layout is nice, the inside has been setup fairly well. Like others, it was a bit to dark towards the later part of the day. We couldn't see properly while eating. The establishment was also very cold, didn't seem like the heat was on. We went with about 14 people so it could've affected the food and service as well. The service was good for the circumstances they had. We had a 4pm reservation and we got there around 4:15, we were seated promptly but the table wasn't clean and there was spilled food everywhere. But the waiter was apologetic and cleaned it right away. The downside is that they had two food runners, and 1 server for the entire restaurant. This man tried his best and did a great job, as well as the runners. They had positive attitudes and they worked very hard to make sure they served everyone in the restaurant. I would give 5 stars to those three individuals, otherwise I wouldn't have even given this restaurant 2 stars. The food was mediocre. I think the kitchen was slammed and being understaffed, most of the dishes came out cold. The chicken was dry in every dish. We had at-least 5 to 6 chicken dishes. This could also be because they used chicken breast in every dish, if it's not cooked properly, breast tend to dry out fairly quickly. But being on the pricier side, you would expect much better food and attention to consistency. Overall the food isn't worth the trip and even with good service, you want a satisfying meal. Which I don't think you will find here. There are so many options for Indian food in south jersey, I would recommend skipping this place.
