“I loved the food at this place, very faithful to its flavors, good prices and admirable service, I asked that they remove the music for my son who has a hearing problem and without thinking much the manager removed it, making our stay pleasant while you enjoyed its rich flavors.

“I would probably not eat here if not invited by someone… best way to describe it for me is inconspicuous hole in the wall… but boy oh boy once the food came I wanted to put shove everything down my cavity in the lower regions of my face. The smell &taste of the food? I thought I tasted food before BUT clearly not. My first time having Afghan food now looking out for these restaurants Place is halal and they have an area to make duha ??✨The portions are huge and GREAT value for money ? The white sauce is top-tier.“

“This establishment has been here in the heart of Steinway for many years. If you’re craving Afghani dishes you’re at the right place. The dishes we ordered were seasoned to perfection! You can’t forget the condiments like the famous white sauce and green sauce. The sauces pack a punch to make the food taste even as good as it already is. The owner is a great person. He may seem standoffish, but he is truly a down to earth man who is trying to make his food fill you up. I been to other Afghani restaurants, and I have to say this one is 100/10! Check it out!“

“We’re in the neighborhood every few years and come here semi-regularly. Just ordered the vegetarian plate and was really delighted by the different vegetables. Cooked thoughtfully, great flavor. The kebab are also quite good.“

“I was very pleased with my experience at Ariana Kebab. I actually walked past this spot and decided to give it a try. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming and the food was nothing short of awesome! I had the beef kofta kebab entree. Portion size is good, although maybe a little pricey at $22 for lunch. Regardless of that cost, I will absolutely make a trip back and refer it to friends. Apparently they’ve been here for 37 years!!!“
