Bread basket to Almond Cream Cake… all delicious. Friendly, attentive staff as well!

I dined alone at Amarone on a moderately busy night, after calling ahead to be sure I could be seated. I was treated with respect by all staff and received exemplary service. I ordered two specials: crab cake with green salad for appetizer, with an excellent Sauvignon Blanc. The crab cake was delicious--all crabmeat, nicely herbed and very generously sized. It honestly would have easily been shared by two, but I was hungry after only having fruit for lunch. The hangar steak with mushroom risotto, also a special, was outstanding. Perfectly medium rare as ordered with a tangy sauce and the perfect amount of mushroom risotto. Interestingly the risotto mushrooms were half shiitake (amazingly flavorful) and half porcini (fine but nowhere near the wow of the shiitake). My plate was completely clean. Dessert of a light but intensely flavorful almond cake paired with cappuccino was the perfect finish. My waiter made a rather forceful counter-recommendation yo my choice of wine with entree. It was very good, and picked the same--and was a fine pairing. But a less relaxed diner might have had their feathers ruffled by his insistence. Supporting staff were ever-ready to clear a plate, answer a question or deliver a course. The bar area in my opinion is a fun spot to sit--lots of windows snd regulars' intersections with each other and the host. The inner rooms do not have windows and are noisier. Very clean bathrooms. Outdoor patio with heaters available in season.

I visited with three friends and their families for dinner. The shop has a luxurious feel, but it also has a homely atmosphere and is comfortable. It was full when I went, so it's best to make a reservation for dinner on weekends.Lasagna and chewy squid ink pasta with lots of seafood have a gentle taste and are very popular with kids! The extra thin Arrabbiata was quite spicy but delicious. The pork chop and Angus beef steak are both delicious! For dessert, the tiramisu and chocolate mousse are especially recommended. The restaurant name is the name of a region in Italy that produces high-end wines, so perhaps they put a lot of effort into wine, and the red wine was also delicious.Although it's a bit pricey, it's a recommended restaurant with a great atmosphere and taste!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was welcoming even with children.

Came by this restaurant a couple times now. The food is good but small portions. Management may need some Improvement. The first time I was here there was a waiter who gave me bad service. I made the mistake of coming back since there was yet another very rude waiter who would force us to order more expensive things and did not bother to explain to us throughly. We had to decline multiple times we wanted to order what we wanted. When I asked about it he was dismissive and started yelling at us. Unacceptable, I like their food but with these aggressive waiters who dont let you actually order what you want, I probably wont be back ever again.

Enjoyed my dining experience here. Staff is very friendly, prompt, and efficient. The food was plentiful and delicious. I liked that the restaurant had "dining areas" for a larger number of guests and for those who are either dining alone or as a couple. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps to enter the restaurant. However, there is not an automatic door.
