Delicious African dishes. Excellent service. Highly recommended
Amazing food. Clean and great service.
The Place is always clean and the food is always good. I always try to get something different. I’ve been coming here since its inception and i cant remember a time that my food tasted bad or that i had a bad experience. The ladies recognize me from my frequent visits, at least 2-3 times a month because I am not from Teaneck. I go out of my way about 20-30 min just to get a taste of home(Ghana).
My first time at Asante restaurant, the food is really good. I had banks and tilapia. Wow I will definitely come back. The servers were friendly and accommodating . The place is clean.
Amazing food! Highly recommend!
My daughter and I have been wanting to try authentic African cuisine. We are Latinas and so used to a Mediterranean taste profile. The food at Asante was so interesting and different and the fufu was so delicious I bought extra to take home. We felt like we had actually traveled to Africa but for a tiny fraction of the cost. Everyone was super friendly and we really enjoyed our visit.
Great West African food
Authentic African taste, very healthy atmosphere, not loud music like some restaurants I've been to, very organized, and best of all the friendliest staff with smile all the way until you leave.
we were looking for the menu but there was none, so to be hit by such a high price was shocking. We’re still wondering if we were scammed, but the people here are friendly and the food is good. If the prices were displayed we wouldn’t have felt we were ripped off.
The best place to enjoy West African cuisine. Try the Jolof with goat meat is to die for. I have tried every dish there and have not been disappointed yet.

First time trying this cuisine and it was amazing. An explosion of flavors and everything was delicious. The staff was very kind and explained the different dishes. They let us try almost all their soups so that we could choose the one we liked the best. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and patient to us today.

Fantastic Ghanaian food bursting with flavor. Trina was super nice to have introduced the dishes. Jollof rice was pleasantly loose grained and amply seasoned. Bean and rice was wonderfully mixed and textured. Tilapia was of good size and nicely grilled prep. Pickled veggies were a great addition, sweet and sour.
