Butterflake has been around forever and continues to provide wonderful service with a smile with a huge array of options. Also, their decision to be allergy friendly makes life so much easier for so many people!

I've been a customer for years. Ownership may have changed over the years but the their delicious challahs and pastries have not. Meltaways...yum!

Butterflake delivered a cake on time for my son's Sunday birthday party on Friday afternoon as agreed. There was a concern with the cake. Butterflake responded immediately and offered to redo the cake with no issues at all. The owner himself drove to the city and delivered the cake on Sunday in time for the party. I am so impressed with the service and communication. The cake itself was absolutely delicious and beautiful (as always). This was not our first time ordering from Butterflake and of course not our last!). Thank you Richie!!!

Had a Crumb Cake and Seven Layer Cake shipped to me in Vermont this week. While the delivery time was certainly excellent the products fell short by a long shot. They were not the same quality I remember of Butterflake growing up in NJ in the 60's. My wife, who also grew up on Butterflake goods refuses to eat ether one after the first piece. A shame really.

Strawberry shortcake sufganiya was awesome! Last week we had the dairy strawberry shortcake and it was the best we have ever had anywhere. The positive energy in the store was such a pleasure.

Called to see if they had a specific challah. They said they had many and were still baking them. Great. Jumped in the car (25 minutes away). Arrived and they said they were out! Counter person very nice but owner WAS NOT. “Too bad. No more. Come tomorrow.”Don’t think I will.

My family and I have been customers on Butterflake since 1966 and it NEVER disappoints us. The variety of high quality baked goods and the great taste are consistent. The friendly service is an added plus.

Their baked goods never disappoint. We have used them for catering but also for holidays and special occasions. Their 7 layer cake is delicious and their fresh baked challah is a family favorite. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely filthy. Please tell me why this bakery has declined to the point where I feel dirty just entering through the door. Not only is it in disarray, it is FILTHY. Mom always said, soap isn't expensive. I won't be going to Butterflake again. If the shop is this dirty, how clean can the kitchen be???

Cinnamon Raisin bread ? is the one! Always busy and sometimes the staff gets overwhelmed but what can you do...they make great baked goods.

Great people! Best combo pie in the East (apple, blueberry and cherry) neatly separated and cooked perfectly.
