When I walked in, the smell of the oxtail made me know what to order instantly. The food was served quickly and the side dishes (especially the mash potatoes) are very delicious. Alot of care in every dish!

The food is fresh, delicious and healthy. The owner really takes her time to ensure that she's serving her customers great dishes. The owner and staff is so pleasant. My favorite spot in Teaneck for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Metro in Teaneck. It was an unforgettable experience that transported me straight to the heart of the Caribbean. We ordered the Escovitch Fish that was served with Rice/Peas, Sweet Plantains and Cabbage. Bernadine (the owner) prepares home-cooked meals showcasing the rich, diverse flavors of the region. Cafe Metro is a gem that brings the authentic taste of the Caribbean to Teaneck. This restaurant is a must-visit.
