Since it’s a hole in the wall kind of spot, it’s strictly to-go, but there are tables available in the indoor courtyard nearby—open to all.“

“I mostly come for the falafel but I ordered kefta and shawafel. I wasn't expecting the enormous amount of meat they put in the kefta platter. I'd say it's a bit pricey, but unfortunately, that's how much everything costs these days. I want the falafel all the time, but have to stop myself because too much takeout is bad for the health and the wallet, but oh it's delicious.“

“Amazing. Got the shawarma plate and it was loaded. Really appreciate the portions of meat and vegetables. Delicious toppings with hummus and tahini and cucumber and cabbage and eggplant etc. Highly recommend. You will be satisfied. Great, fast service too.“

“This place was fantastic! Over the years I've been here maybe 10 times. I never complain when my friends or family suggest this place to eat for dinner. The waitresses are always a pleasure to deal with. They assist me well when I ask for all my extras and meal modifications. The chef ?‍? in the back is on point. Parking: Paid street parking can be a bit full sometimes, causing me to circle once or twice. I typically never have to walk more than a half a block.“

“Amazing Mediterranean place in UWS/Columbia. Authentic food, beautiful music, friendly and welcoming staff and the chef! I love their chicken and lamb shawarma, lentils soup, and baklava. Feast for the soul and body! Recommend it to all my friends too!“

“Benjy is quite the character. We became best friends a little too quickly. Benjy asks a lot of questions if he has never seen you before….He was a detective or policeman years ago or something, you should probably ask him about it and I’m sure he will tell you.

He makes good pizza.

Only order whole pies, no slices.

He also has bourekas.

“1. Phenomenal pizza, baked based upon your desired style/taste. The "undercarriage" is perfection!!!!

2. The ambiance was crafted in a significantly casual yet comfortable fashion. You feel good as soon as you take a seat. They are also constructed for a high capacity crowd.

3. One of the greatest features of all...., SERVICE! An Absolutely enjoyable experience. Warm greetings, and phenomenal all-around-service can be expected. I had an extremely positive experience, the very first time I walked in.

“We were visiting the area and were drawn here by the amazing smells. So many different choices of slices were available. My daughter chose cheese and a pasta topped slice. I chose ricotta/spinach and a mushroom. This place makes the best pizza we’ve ever had!“

“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“

“Just had a felafel, one of many I’ve had at Mamoun’s since 1975, though only my second at this newer location. Was delicious and not crazy priced (is there a $3 felafel anywhere anymore?). My only issue? The lettuce and tomato was too cold. Cold is not what one expects when biting into a felafel.“
