Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.

When you walk in and get hit with the welcoming smile like you’re walking into your home, you know you have hit the right place. The wonderful smell of the home style food is even better. Well, even better, was chatting with Eddie and that true experience of feeling at home. Who is Eddie you ask? He is the owner of this amazing gem. Now, here is it is, Mis Raices (My Roots) is the perfect name of this great go to, home style, family oriented fusion of Puerto Rican and Cuban food. So looking forward to coming back!

Celebrated my birthday for lunch a few weeks ago and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was super attentive and very personable. We also appreciated when she confronted the kids who were being loud. Honestly that is the only downside. Since it’s right by a school, the kids go there for lunch but if you came for dinner, I’m sure the experience will be even greater. It’s unfathomable how reasonably priced the food is for the economy we are in today and compared to other restaurants. All in all, I highly recommend either ordering out or dining in here. You’ll thank me later! ?

Best PR food in Teaneck! I had a request for Arroz Mamposteao…if you know you know :-) and the owner delivered. It was para chaparse los dedos (finger licking good). Definitely, this is my to go place when I don’t want to cook PR food at home. The pernil, alcapurrias, tostones, and beans are delicious.
