Our Waitress Jessica was fantastic. She was attentive and had a positive energy. The food for the most part was great. Our pizza was raw unfortunately. Our only real complaint was that the serving wear did not seem clean. One fork was dirty and then the pizza server, had a crusted on piece of lettuce underneath which was extremely unpleasant and made everyone at the table not eat anymore. If the cleanliness would get fixed, we would definitely come back.
I made a 9:45 reservation online it says there's a 15 minute grace period. I arrived at 9:55 and was told the kitchen is closed and I can't come in. I was with a date and pretty mortified. Very upsetting experience.
I'm very disappointed with my experience today. When I arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time, the door was locked and there was no one inside. Despite confirming the reservation via text message earlier in the day, I was unable to enter the restaurant or get in touch with anyone. This was extremely frustrating and inconvenient, and I hope you can provide an explanation for what happened.
Very good food, drinks and wine. If the service matched the food and drink this would be 5 star. Wait staff missed several requests, needed reminders.
Mocha Bleu is a great restaurant. We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We had baked ziti, fish tacos & salmon burger. Everything was delicious and very generous portions. We had steamed edamame for appetizer - also delicious. The birthday girl had chocolate lava cake for dessert. All in all it was a great evening with very good service. Highly recommend!
This is without question the worst dining experience I've ever had. Number 1 this place has prices like it's a 3 Michelin star restaurant in downtown NY. Way overpriced and the food was not good at all. We left halfway thru our meal and left all the food on the table it was so bad. Number 2 they were having a full blown Jewish ceremony going in the restaurant while we were eating. I have nothing against that at all but close the place to the public if you are going to have a ceremony like that. They call this place a mixology bar...total joke. My wife ordered a SIMPLE vodka with club soda and lemon and that's not even close to what we got and when we questioned the bartender she gave a snide remark “that's what you ordered”. There are a million and 1 better places to eat in Jersey that are more affordable and the food is hands down better. Terrible experience all the way across the board.
I feel like I was majorly ripped off... I've been seeing this as a trend in the "nicer" restaurants in the NY area recently. Maybe it's because of the economy, but to receive a small bowl of french onion soup, french fries, and a small mac and cheese.... $67 is beyond outrageous. It was a nice restaurant aesthetically but that doesn't justify the prices. if I was running this restaurant I'd be embarrassed to charge like this. it's unethical because people come in on dates etc., and then feel stuck and feel they have to sit and buy something, but there's nothing on the menu that's is even large enough for a proper meal at $20... that's kinda insane. the staff weren't overly nice although they were somewhat patient. no one checked on us during the meal except for when they were closing and were trying to usher us out. and the 20% built-in gratuity.... who does that? 15% is like okay I get that's the standard, but you thinking you're more elite as a food service doesn't make it the case. not sure exactly what gratuity was even warranted for the mediocre service we received. 100% I will never come back to this restaurant, unless I hear that they shape up in the future. Sorry guys, but this has to be a whole lot better. Majorly upset with this.
The food very over price. The service is bad and long wait even the table is damaged on the corners

STAY AWAY!!!!
I had a disappointing experience at Mocha Bleu. Unfortunately, I encountered numerous flies throughout my visit, which made the dining environment quite unpleasant. To add to that, the service was terrible. Staff members seemed unresponsive and disorganized, which further detracted from the experience.

I recently visited Mocha and Bleu, and I have to say, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being an expensive restaurant, the quality of the food was disappointing and didn't justify the prices.
Additionally, I noticed numerous flies in the dining area, along with a cockroach, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. This was particularly unsettling in an establishment that portrays itself as upscale.
Given these issues, I cannot recommend Mocha and Bleu. There are better dining options available that offer both quality food and a more pleasant atmosphere.

The waiter was rude and unkind. The food was extremely overpriced compared to what we got. The pizza arrived burnt, and the fried eggplant on it was both burnt and stale. The salad was very plain and did not match the description on the menu, with old sunflower seeds. We paid a high price and left the place hungry. Not recommended.
Stay away
