The food was amazing. Loved it. But the store was very busy and it was very hard to get helped. Thank you to the cashier with glasses because she was amazing with helping me and taking my order. However the other cashier (the chubby one) was the worst. Everytime I thought she was about to take my order she would run to the back and hide. Has that nasty face as if she’s disgusted to talk to you and was incredibly slow.

A great old school place. Fancy schmancy it isn't, but who cares. Go and do as many pushups as you can, right there on the floor, in front of eveyone. You'll have your name on the wall with how many you did. Just love the place.

I was coming back from summer camp on a bus to LaGuardia Airport, and we stopped by this place to get pizza. I decided to just eat the pizza without the fries that we ordered. It was baked to perfection. I wouldn't give up this place for any other.

When you first walk into this stop, it's apparent right away that the ambiance kinda pulls you away from the store's appeal. The walls are dirty, probably since there are so many children and parents there, not really a good spot for young adults or teens. I've been multiple times, mainly because my family likes the food there and I come along with them. I've never tasted something good there. I heard the pizza was good, but never tried it so can't judge that. What I have tried was the Avocado toast the first time, which was on a stale bagel. The avocado and egg were both poorly seasoned and bland, a bit unappealing, and I didn't think it was worth what I paid at all. I also had previously tried the black bean sweet potatoe wrap. I was very hungry at the time but still didn't find the wrap at all tasty. The outside was a bit stale and soggy, and the flavors inside weren't anything tasty. Also, I chose the wrap because I try to avoid cheese, and there was no cheese listed on the menu for what was in it. The peppers, egg, beans, and sweet potatoe were all tjere, but they added feta cheese. Very disappointed with my experience. Service was ok.

This is one of those comfort food places everything is excellent. Bagels and breakfast served all day. But don't miss out on the baked ziti it's very affordable and I have no idea what they put in there but it's a must have. The owner and staff end up learning your name . Like it should be.

To whom it may concernI called to place an order for my company, I called at 10am and they asked me what time I wanted the food delivered, I answered 1130am, I waited till 1230pm and called again but no one answered the phone, so I called again got no answer again. I called the third time and was put on hold and heard a conversation that was happening in the store.I am totally disgusted with trying to place and order. I am never placing an order for my company again.
As a proud member of the Poppy's club, there is no better food than the Hobo bagel they have. The coffee machine also has great coffee and their prices are usually pretty fair. 10x better than sammys. While their pizza is oily I cant rlly complain about thier other food.

The pizza is pretty good, but not good enough for us to tolerate the attitude of the owner and his staff.The people working there are NOT friendly and very rude! Every time I go to Poppies they seem like they are upset and don’t want to help us (as if you are bothering them), the owner acts as if he hates his job. Whenever they hire a new friendly person, it takes a little bit of time and he will start acting rude like the rest of them. The guy who makes the pizza constantly makes very rude comments to my wife about her weight and how she shouldn’t be eating pizza. We recently had a baby so she gained a little bit of weight, but it’s getting to the point where she is embarrassed to go into the store anymore. The whole environment isn’t nice! I am not someone that writes bad reviews but it’s at the point where we will not walk in there again!
