I like Indian food and have eaten it all over the world. I have to say that Rudra was one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to eat at. The food was excellent in every way and the portions were generous. Definitely try the Chicken Makhni (butter chicken).

This restaurant is by far one of my favorite restaurants.. The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful..Samosas , mattar paneer, chicken tikka Masala and chicken biriyani are a must and off course the Butter and Garlic naan ?????

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant! I’m so happy to have this place so close to home. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, the prices are great (you can’t eat this good for these prices anywhere in Bergen County!) the service is exceptional (the owner is so kind and makes you feel at home, you can tell he cares about your experience) and now of course the food- the food is AMAZING! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. One of our favorite places to eat. Highly recommended for sure. The samosas, crab and shrimp appetizer, and the chicken tikka masala are our go to’s but everything else we’ve had has been wonderful as well.

We ordered chicken biryani but what we received was colored rice with chicken pieces put on top which can’t be called biryani from any means. I done know about other dishes but definitely don’t order biryani as you are going to get chicken over
