Food was good and wait staff were very friendly but the service was Very slow. I dont need to a restaurant to to be speedy but i think waitstaff should be attentive and check in on you periodically. Anytime we needed something we had to flag down the waiter which took awhile.

Max's Italian Grill is tucked away in Tenafly and is a great find. We've been coming here for a few years now and enjoy the food and great service. Max himself checks on his customers ensuring a great time is being had over food and drink.
Max restaurant is the best Italian food in tenfly.he uses less condiments in his cooking so you can taste what he makes. He's not only the owner but the chef as well.I would highly recommend this as everything on the menu is delicious and out-of-this-world made fresh.
