It's a cute place to have breakfast and lunch. You order at counter and then wait till it's ready. Staff is really nice and the panninis were delicious. Will definitely be back

I grew up in the area 35 years ago. I was craving a pork roll sandwich headed to Newark Airport and Google lad me to Sal's. It did not disappoint in the least!! The service was quick. The atmosphere was easy. The sweet owner chatted with me while I waited. My next trip to Bergen County will include a visit.

Good food at a good price. I have never had a bad meal here. This is my go to spot when in need of a great meal and I don’t want to wait forever. The best breakfast spot in Hackensack for a breakfast sandwich. I’ve tried almost every spot around and they are top notch. Lunch is great too. Try the spicy cheesesteak or the cowboy burger, you won’t be disappointed

Best BEC near Hackensack and at a steal of a price! Josie the owner is super sweet and has a touching family story behind the opening of the restaurant decades ago.
The breakfast burrito was delicious. I like that they have healthier carb choices such as wheat wraps and sourdough bread. I wish they had merch to buy. Overall the food is good and the place itself is nice. 5 stars for value!

Food is good and freshly made everyday. You can see the chefs behind the counter I call them chefs because that is how they are dressed. The hostess is very well dressed and makes sure everyone is taken care of.
