I grew up in the area 35 years ago. I was craving a pork roll sandwich headed to Newark Airport and Google lad me to Sal's. It did not disappoint in the least!! The service was quick. The atmosphere was easy. The sweet owner chatted with me while I waited. My next trip to Bergen County will include a visit.
Good food at a good price. I have never had a bad meal here. This is my go to spot when in need of a great meal and I don’t want to wait forever. The best breakfast spot in Hackensack for a breakfast sandwich. I’ve tried almost every spot around and they are top notch. Lunch is great too. Try the spicy cheesesteak or the cowboy burger, you won’t be disappointed
The breakfast burrito was delicious. I like that they have healthier carb choices such as wheat wraps and sourdough bread.
I wish they had merch to buy.
Overall the food is good and the place itself is nice.
