Met 2 friends there for early dinner. Food & service were great! The manager stopped by to see how things were going & she was very pleasant. We all had a nice time.

Horrible service, starting from the host with his headphones in. Greets us by staying “We’re about to close” an hour before close time. Completely unprofessional behavior, says well I have to ask someone. Ask about what? Comes back and grabs menus huffing and puffing walks us to the table, leaves the menus, mumbles under his breath and walks off. You can clearly hear wait staff complaining about being cut. Keep in mind two other tables get sat after us in the already busy restaurant. Our server comes over basically dragging his feet to ask what we want to order. Completely rude and lazy staff from our experience.

I had reservations coming here prior to our movie at 7pm, given the history of chain restaurants. Ember and Eagle is closed on Sundays and my wife and I wanted a place for apps and a drink.

The place is excellent for watching sports due to multiple tvs everywhere while sitting at the bar. Maitre D was courteous and welcomed us to the restaurant. We sat at the bar.

I thought about ordering wings since I always try wings at every restaurant I go to, my favorite food, but for the price of $18 vs a full rack of ribs for $26, it was a no brainer. My wife ordered the sirloin steak rare and potatoes.

Surprisingly, our food was amazing. For the price that’s about $7-8 cheaper than Salt Creek Grille for $32ish, their ribs were scrumptious and fall off the bone tender. I had the Hot Honey sauce which was amazing. Yeah, it didn’t come with Parmesan waffle fries like SCG, but their fries were great, better than most fast food places.

My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly rare and for a sirloin it was great. Yes it wasn’t prime steak but it only costs $25 and not upwards of $80. Her steak was definitely better than Outback.

We concluded that it all depends on who’s cooking and I have to commend the cook who made our dinner on Sunday Aug 3 at 6pm. We have no complaints and if we are in town and need a good meal at a very reasonable price, Applebees in Eatontown is the place to go.

Horrible experience. Jeff the manager poor customer service. Bartender service poor. Inattentive and food cold when it came out. Been going to Applebee's for so many years and definitely will not frequent this location ever again. Quite insulted as military officer and coming from event at Fort Monmouth this evening. Cold food, poor management equals do not come to this restaurant. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Restaurant and bathroom (men's) filthy.

I never thought i’d give an Applebees a 5-star review, but we came for the cheap food, and stayed for the outdoor seating and bingo competition hosted by Kyle. Easily the best time i’ve had at an applebees. I will come back and highly recommend that you don’t miss Bingo (the old people are rather competitive though)

We got here because of near the hotel we stayd but wasn't that great like other location. Reason was food was below average and drink was flat and they charge the game that we don't even play. I recommand go chills near there much nicer and better.

The employees majority of servers need to take care of their customers and stop hiding in a corner gossiping then expecting a tip...

For example tonight I ordered a drink I ordered some food my appetizer showed up she didn't even stay long enough for me to ask for something to go on the side with it, disappeared most of the time, other service talking among each other how someone asked for service and then he just told different Server oh I just told them to figure it out what rude staff you have I would fire them or have them retrained and definitely look over the tape on the manager on duty that night meaning tonight... have him/her retrained but that bar could've made a lot of money tonight... the service wasn't there the waiters were more focused on having fun amongst each other's like it was high school, yes I understand it's supposed to be a fun environment but while being efficient and it was not.

The GM of this Applebee's needs to take better care of this location especially weekend night shift

I'm just annoyed that I didn't even have anything to drink with my main meal because she took so long to show up and I had an empty glass for a while... I didn't get my second beer until I was halfway through my main course. When I ordered my beer before my food showed up to the table.

It's beer on draft it's not hard to go to the bar grab it come back, a normal server would've waited for the beer to be poured and then dropped it off.

But something was more important of watching drunk people on the patio that's been there all day they said been taking care of everybody else when that wasn't even their section...

So many of her tables were dissatisfied
I've seen more Applebee's with less employees run more efficiently across the US

Sadly I live with in a mile plus this was convenient but I won't be coming back, the service must stay at worse every time.

And the biggest factor is the employees are extremely rude

They need to wake up call and understand how to make money is customer service...

Hubby's birthday celebration here. They gave him dessert. He loved it....we both loved the dinner.

Dietary restrictions: I cannot have lactose and the servers as well as the cook were very helpful.

Anthony the bar tender was BEYOND rude, disrespectful and arrogant. He should not be allowed to work in the service industry. Absolutely terrible service. Should be ashamed of himself. Marissa, our server, was 10/10 AMAZING.
