Asia Star Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in southern Monmouth County! They have an excellent variety of entrées from around the Asian continent, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Asia Star Cafe is a decent Chinese restaurant with slightly higher prices. The quality is a bit better than standard Chinese takeout. I do like it on occasion. I have never dined inside, but the inside does look nice. The service is good and the place is relatively clean. It is definitely worth checking out

We went on a Friday evening to try this Chinese restaurant. Overall a good experience.
1. We had Wonton soup. This was very good. Instead of the normal thick Wonton wrapper with just a little bit of pork, this soup had 4 dumplings that had a good amount of pork inside a thin rice wrapper. The broth was nice too.
2. Also had the Hot and Sour Soup. It was just okay. Could have been a little more spicy and had more ingredients.
