Woody's Ocean Grille Tinton Falls

Very disappointed that it is about to be turned into a noisy sports bar. Will miss Woodys for sure.

Always a good meal at Woody's in Tinton Falls. Great prices, food, ambiance, service and variety.

Lovely service on a Sunday afternoon. The right amount of attention while leaving us to blether and catch up as a group of 3 friends. Food and cocktails - nice - and they accommodated friends request for a change in the shrimp taco glaze. Perfect dining experience. Thank you.

We heard about Woodys and finally dined there. The corn dip was excellent and we enjoyed the Aloha and Poke bowls. Great cheery service. Next time we will order cocktails and go with friends. Love the menu!

Our waiter was amazing. He had great suggestions and the Birria Taco was delicious. You won't be disappointed.

Noisy, cafeteria like ambiance in a popular restaurant. Lots of servers and helpers running around in black aprons. OK food and drink. Friendly server until we indicated, not complained, that we were not happy to be charged a 3% fee for using a credit card (gas stations stopped doing that years ago!). Our now less than friendly server said” well, that's the way we've done it for the last seven years” and hurried away from our table. As a retired small business owner I NEVER charged a fee for use of a credit card. With the elimination of income tax on tips, I'm sure servers at restaurants where a fee is imposed for cc users won't mind the 3% reduction in tips!

The food was very good, but the menu had changed since the last time I was there. I was disappointed that the egg rolls were missing, and the mains were limited. They have recently been sold, and the menu will be changing again. I will try it again.

Our waitress Nicole was fantastic with our son. Service was great, food was great, and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back, especially when it gets nice out!

The food can always be counted on to be delicious. We have had some wonderful experiences at Woody's and for that reason the past two years my son from out of town has selected this restaurant to celebrate his birthday .... Never again. We thought last year was a fluke but ....as it was the weekend we made reservations and was tabled upstairs again to no-where land. Total lack of attention by wait and serving staff not to mention seated next to us was a table of 15 middle school aged girls fresh from a soccer match (think screaming at the top of their lungs!) and their equally loud parents. By the time desert rolled around, the staff forgot one of our deserts and all serving ware. After 15 minutes our waitress finally appeared and was shocked when I pointed out we were short a desert only to return 10 minutes later to say it was no longer available (still no serving ware!). We sat at the table another 20 minutes before we realized our waitress was not coming back and the decibel level reached an out-of-control point. We decided to try to pay our bill at the hostess station. While doing so, hostess offhandedly commented that our waitress had already left for the night! No kidding!!

Food was ok. Nothing great. Overpriced bar food. Drinks were strong and the server was good and the food came quickly.

Our waiter was awesome! Lots of good information. Food from the kitchen came out quick even though restaurant was packed. 

Doug is an excellent server. Friendly, energetic, attentive. Food was excellent. I highly recommend Woody's

We took my aunt to lunch for her 88th birthday. The food was better than average "bar-type" food, and we enjoyed our meal. Our server, Doug, was friendly and incredibly helpful in our food choices. The burger was tasty and cooked as specified, but the roll was unexpectedly greasy on the outside, and we needed to wipe it off. The fries and French Dip were delicious. The Aloha Bowl with shrimp was yummy but sweeter than expected. I expected a bit of heat. The ambiance is fun and warm. We arrived early for our reservation, but the hostess was ready for us and brought us to a nice table. Doug was attentive and available as needed. Overall, it was a good experience, and we will return.

Love everything about this place. The ambiance, the drinks, the food. We've never had a meal we didn't fully enjoy.
