I /we went there for drinks and appetizers during happy hour after work. The atmosphere seemed great at first, then we placed an order and began to eat and drink. Our server was great.đđ˝đđ˝ then I noticed that we were being observed by either the owner or the manager who proceeded to approach our table after 15 minutes while we were slowly eating and trying to take in the vibe then asked us were we taking a break from eating as if we were taking up space and time.đ¤Śđžââď¸ I explained that I was waiting for another drink and his response was ok are you sure that you donât want to go plates ? I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed being that I was already being taken care of from the server and didnât understand why I was asked if I was taking a break like I was taking too long to eat ,We were there not even an hour when we were approached . We felt like we were being hurried out. đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ I m not pulling the race card but it was an unwelcoming experience for me/us..

Donât like leaving reviews but I was really excited to try this place out. We got the chips and dip to start which tasted fine, but we didnât taste any of the caramelized onion in the dip. The steak bites were decent with the sauce, but they tasted like they were microwaved. I got the Mac burger pizza, which tasted pretty good on the cauliflower dough, but itâs more of a really thin gluten-free flatbread. We were really excited to try the general tso fried chicken sandwich. Long story short it Tasted like it was leftover, not crispy, and really dark meat like stuff that shouldnât be sold. Anyways, the waitress was nice to take it off our bill and we had no problem with the service, she was very nice and attentive. Sorry but hopefully we can try again in the future

I picked up today and got the chicken parm and white pizza, but the atmosphere was really cozy inside, they have holiday decor too if you want to see some of that, and front desk reception was welcoming :) great first time

I've been meaning to post this review for awhile now, but it kept slipping my mind. Went here in early fall on a whim & we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, with quite a few unique items on the menu! We could have gone there for just the Milk Bread alone though! That stuff is so amazing & we had to talk ourselves out of buying extra to-go after getting like 3 orders while we dined in.

37 Eats in Toms River absolutely blindsided meâin the best possible way. You walk in expecting âanother local joint,â and instead it feels like someone took a diner, a bistro, and a food scientist, locked them in a room, and said âfigure it out.â The menu hits that sweet spot where you can order anything and not feel like youâre gambling with your stomach. Flavors are bold without being obnoxious, portions are generous without being cartoonish, and every dish tastes like the chef personally tasted it, nodded, and said, âYeah, thatâll impress the locals.â Itâs the kind of place where halfway through your meal youâre already planning the next oneâdangerous, but in a fun âI earned thisâ way.
Service? Fast, friendly, and actually paying attention instead of doing the fake âeverything OK?â drive-by. The vibe is relaxed but not sloppy, and the room somehow avoids that echo-chamber chaos you get at other busy spots in town. They clearly care about getting the details rightâseasoning, presentation, even the temperature of the plates. You leave feeling like you got your moneyâs worth and then some. Bottom line: 37 Eats is the kind of place Toms River should brag about. If the rest of the food scene had this level of confidence and execution, weâd need a waiting list to get into the entire town. I only complained was the flatbread which wasn't made with marinara sauce, so that's a particular thing to me specifically, I just thought it was somewhat tasteless. But the calamari was definitely above average.
First time here. Loved all of it!! Gluten free options, hostesses, servers, food all excellent. We had such a good time in this relaxed environment !!! Plus the surfer on acids were the bomb!!!

I stopped in for lunch and was just going to have a salad. But they had some specials and one of them was butter beans with some sauces. I asked the waitress about it and she said it was pretty good. It was great! I also got a bowl of potato leek soup. In the picture you can see the focaccia, it looks small in the picture but it was the size of my face and it was really good. So much food. I made dinner out of the leftovers.
