“Tonight was my second time doing happy hour at JoeBellas. The Fig and Pear martini is straight up divine. The happy hour menu is fun. I had no problem eating Parmesan Truffle Fries for dinner LOL so so yummy. My husband and I brought his cousins last Saturday for a beautiful sit down dinner and as we were being seated we saw our neighbor's from two houses over! Bought them a round of course. Everyone was very happy with their meal. What a fun local restaurant. You'll wait in the summer time of course, totally worth the wait but now that we locals have it back I'll be frequenting more often. I happen to bring a friend tonight who is now a loyal fan. #lovejoebellas”

“We were there last night for the first time. The food was fabulous and our server ( nephew of the owner) was terrific. We all ordered different things and all our dishes were great. The 3 milk cake for dessert was to die for as well as the Colombian coffee. There really is a Margo the owner. She served us also and hugged has all as we left. A gem of a restaurant with no pretentious atmosphere great food and family run. We will be back.”

Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!”

I had “the tower” two pieces of fried eggplant with layered fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers topped with a balsamic reduction glaze. OMG it was so very light and refreshing. After the phone was fixed several hours later we went back and got more to have for dinner.”

“My sister and brother-in-law were visiting NJ and staying in Tom’s River. I suggested we meet at Sugo for lunch. We were greeted warmly when we entered and were seated immediately. Service was professional and attentive. We ordered two falafel platters, a quinoa salad and a bowl of ziti for the table. The food was delicious and we all finished our meals. Interestingly, the falafel platter didn’t come with pita. This isn’t a complaint, just an observation. Since the portion was so big, I didn’t miss the pita. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The owner of Sugo’s also owns Giddy’s in Highland Park. The food there is equally as good.”

Friendly atmosphere, plenty of outlets to charge devices, including USB ports if you only have cables to charge with. It was clean and had great lighting for a bookworm like me…I’m hypersensitive to light and it was perfect here. I know people tend to leave complaints over small things and mix ups, that can happen anywhere. Their friendly service served me exactly what I wanted and the cappuchino and Boston Cream donut were amazing. A great start to my day, runnin’ on Dunkin’!!!!!!!”

We got the roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffed shells, chicken Parmesan, and eggplant Parmesan. The roast beef was extremely tender and the stuffed shells were the creamiest most delicious shells I've ever had! For our charcuterie board we got a variety of Italian imported meats and were just blown away by how good they were. All of our guests raved about the food and we've been enjoying the leftovers ever since. Would definitely recommend and will be ordering from Luigi's again and again!!”

I was totally blown away with their variety of Polish products, handmade refrigerated pirogies and other homemade Polish food, Polish canned goods, cookies, candies, and even Polish magazines. My husband absolutely loved the cookies he bought which reminded him of the cookies his neighbor used to make when he was growing up. The pirogies and the latkes I bought were phenomenal!!! They became parents of 2 wonderful children throughout the years. Their daughter Kim, attends Rutgers and still makes time to help mom and dad out. Their son Kevin, is a graduate from HS North in Tom's River. Even during Covid theyveorked hard at staying open and serving the best Chinese food in noot just Tom's River but in my opinion Ocean County. I for one would love for them to be able to reopen sit-down eat in restaurant. John definitely has the best pork fried rice. Nobody makes it like him. “Ordered through DoorDash last night and couldn't have been happier! I was craving Fried Calamari. It was crispy and light, not at all greasy, and came with a large container of freshly made marinara sauce on the side. On a whim, I also ordered a Linguini with White Clam Sauce which I planned on saving for tonight's dinner. Didn't happen. When I opened the container, saw and smelled the pasta, I had to try it. I wound up eating a third of it immediately. The sauce was chock full of small little necks and chopped garlic and had a substantial and thoroughly enjoyable flavor which complemented the linguini rather than overpowering it. And this all came with a full, small loaf of Italian bread! What more could I ask for? Plus they use eco friendly aluminum and paper take out containers. I'll be back to try other items on their menu.”

Each selection we had was instantly the best version of that dish we ever had. From creamy Mozzerella en Corroza like none I’ve ever had before to Parciatelli alla Norma, their Fresh Made Parciatelli Pasta and Eggplant entre it seems every dish brought to the table was a new experience in warm, feel good dining. “This hole in the wall is owned by the nastiest people in Tom's River, if not all of NJ. They don't care about anything but being loud and nasty and right. They advertised a band playing at 4 on Sunday and wouldn't let the band go on because of a Rangers Game. When a few patrons asked about the delay, we were told they would not start till 6 due to the game. Not only were the owners unapologetic, but the wife physically pushed me out of the bar when I mentioned that they're false advertising and causing people who drove an hour to hear the band an inconvenience. She got into my face and yelled at me aggressively multiple times "get out!!!while her husband was trying to redirect her away. Disgusting place that doesn't care about patrons except those who are just as nasty as them. If you're looking for a pleasant place to visit for any reason, stay far away from this one and its nasty owners.”

“I had dinner at the miracle pub on Friday night with some friends, we were greeted immediately upon entering the place and they got a table for us. One of my friends has a problem getting up upon the high seats that they have. We were taken to a table that was closer to the ground so my friend could sit on the chair. The server immediately came over to us to give us menus and asked if we wanted any drinks before we ordered.
We ordered steak bites, grilled shrimp, my friend got a steak and salad. The waitress let us know how long we would have to wait for our food. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They have a very large assortment of different foods to order. I was very impressed with the diversity of the menu and the prices were reasonable. I enjoyed this dinner out with my friends. I plan to go back again soon.”
