The cheesecakes were absolutely stellar. Perfect NY style, creamy and rich. The staff were very friendly and attentive. For appetizers we had the Nonna's meatballs which tasted like they were slow cooked in sauce all day and delicious. I needed a pinch of salt but my tastes are salt heavy. We went to Brooklyn Bistro for the first time on a Saturday night and it was just as good as I hoped it would be. If you grew up in Brooklyn and remember restaurants like Fiorentino's, New Corners or Ortobello's, you'll like Brooklyn Bistro. It's got that old school feel with everything from the thick tablecloths to the pictures on the wall.
