Had lunch here today and it was very good. I love Indian food and enjoy trying new places. This one is a keeper. Please note they do not offer the Buffett anymore. We had to order lunch off the menu which was 20$ a piece. Good food and quality but I enjoy a buffet for lunch in order to try new Indian items.

We had our Easter dinner here (for the second time), as always what a delight. Every time we eat here, the food is so delicious, so many choices and everything more incredible with every bite. I have been enjoying Indian cuisine for years, traveled all across the country and they truly do it the best. The staff is friendly and kind, so courteous with regards to allergies and level of spice and heat. Their Indian coffee is perfect and the presentation is so great. If you haven't been, it's a must visit! Also, we found this restaurant from someone who is Indian, who says he loves the food, we are not Indian by background so I would think this is a solid positive for authenticity.

I have passed this restaurant many many times on the way to my In-Laws house in TR, and have been wanting to try it for ages. This past Friday 4/8, hubby and I finally went for our date night dinner, and we were not disappointed!! First, the staff is so warm and welcoming, water right away to the table and nice little basket of bread with the usual sauces to taste. We both ordered the Mango Lassi, which was refreshing and delicious. We order 3 appetizers, the Veggie Samosas, Aloo Chaat and Tawa Murgh, all three were very tasty and definitely got our taste buds excited for our entrees. For our entrees I ordered the Rogan Josh, which was very nice, the lamb was tender and seasonings/spice was perfect. Hubby ordered the Murgh Tikka Lazziz, he really enjoyed this dish. Although the dishes each came with traditional rice, we also ordered the garlic rice, which we both really preferred, and the Aamantran bread basket, which for us was a fantastic idea of trying new breads, Naan, Roti, Onion & Garlic Kulcha. There was quite a bit of food so we obviously couldnt eat it all, and neither of us had room for dessert, and it was nice to have leftovers for my lunch the next day. I have read some of the other reviews and I can't say that I had a bad exerience here, I eat quite a bit of Indian food and I have had both exceptional and down right horrendous experiences. Aamantran is nice small family owned restaurant with a menu that anyone can find something they will like, again, staff was super friendly and made our evening our enjoyable and the food was very good. We will be back.

Super all around. Best Tandoori chicken I've ever had. Excellent friendly service. Will be back soon.

The food is MEH, but overpriced and the service is TERRIBLE. The woman who took our check was down right rude. Go Elsewhere.

As a party of five, all of us got very sick after eating here. We had Chicken Korma and Vindaloo. To make matters worse, they service was terrible. NEVER AGAIN!

I've been searching for an Indian restaurant in Ocean or Atlantic Counties. I recently have moved from north Jersey where the diversity in food is amazing. Soooooo...I tried this and it was great! Big restaurant snd nice menu. No buffet lunch (due to COVID I think), but ordered some very typical items and was very pleased. Chicken Tikka Masala, Murgh Vindaloo, saag Paneer and naan. Great quality white meat chicken. Saag Paneer was so yummy. Shared with a friend and we both loved it! Prices were fair. Service was good. Not fancy but clean. Great find!

We love this place! The owners recognize your face, remember how spicy you like it, and the food is always delicious. My boyfriend and I consistently say "best meal we've had in a while". It's spicy, it burns so good, so good (but only if you want it to). Food is always fresh and hot and reasonably priced, BYOB too. Highly recommend.

The chicken curry and garlic Naan bread were both amazing! Definitely coming back to Aamantran!

This place is legit, and it has nothing to do with the limited number of Indian restaurants. Needs to be remodeled, but that also adds to the charm. Family business and they are all pretty active on the floor providing good service. You can watch the chef cooking snd using the large clay oven. Pretty cool. Their Samosa was very tasty and the Rogan Josh was delicious! My wife had a shrimp dish we she loved. Their nan was perfect for dipping into the delicious sauces. I'll definitely be back!

I placed an order on door dash and arrived right on schedule to pick it up. When I got there I said my name and he proceeded to tell me that another women had picked up my order. He was annoyed at me, reluctantly asking if I wanted him to remake it. I already paid so I said yes. He said 15-20 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour. I heard him on the phone with the person who picked up my order, also being rude to them. He had them bring in my order and the owner proceeded to try to GIVE ME THE ORDER THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN SENT HOME WITH SOMEONE ELSE WND BROUGHT BACK! When I called him out he was speechless and grabbed a bag that had been sitting there and handed that to me? Not only was this disrespectful, it's also unsanitary and concerning that they would be okay to do this ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC. It made me question the safety of the food in general. The customer service is terrible and unacceptable. They must think it's okay to reuse old food that has been touched by other customers. I never leave reviews but did want to warn others. Do not eat here.
