Heard about Breaking Bread from a friend and decided to try out the special they were running. It was fantastic! More than enough food for a family of 4. The service was excellent and the gentleman who I believe cooked the food was so kind. My Boys loved the paintings on the wall even requested to take a picture lol we will definitely be back.

incredible food and friendly staff, wish i could give it 6 stars!!! exactly what we needed after a beach day :) both the cold and hot sandwiches hit the spot, VERY fresh ingredients and generous portions (we all had 1/2 our sandwiches left over and it was still great after being in the fridge overnight). definitely a must-visit & we will be back for more any time we’re in the area!!!

Absolutely great experience here, the food was as fresh as can be and very delicious. We had the Milano and it was so good that we came back the next day and had the Chicken Parm sandwiches. The owners are very friendly and the store is beautiful.

We used Breakin Bread Eatery for both of our daughter's special days- Baptism and Communion. The food is delicious! First, their sandwiches are very tasty. The chicken francese, is phenomenal, so thin, it melts in your mouth. The eggplant rollatini is the BEST we have ever had. All of our guests raved about how good it was. I highly recommend this eatery!!!

I got a sub here to take to work today and it's amazing! Great quality meats, sharp provolone and equally important, quality fresh bread. Many sub shops fall short on bread, but it makes a good sub into something sublime.
Anyway, highly recommend Breakin Bread!

We came from Maryland to the Tom’s River area for a soccer game and googled “the best subs in the Tom’s River area” - Breaking Bread Eatery was one of the top rated so we decided to give it a try…it did not disappoint!
We got 2 hot subs to eat-in and 2 to take home. Chris behind the counter was very helpful and made some great suggestions and even put the oil + vinegar on the side for the subs we were taking home so they wouldn’t get soggy.
All in all this place was awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone.
