Stopped at Crabby Rick’s for a quick bite. Everything was delicious! They went above and beyond even through to the kids meals. Homemade French fries were a hit with them, the hotdog was great quality and so was the burger. Kids loved it. We got the blackened fish salad and my goodness amazing! Delicious all around. Also got to try the red snapper sandwich and it was definitely 10/10. Really sweet staff, will definitely be back.

Great casual place with great food! The kids made their own fries from a potato and it was a big hit. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.

I was there on a Monday evening after a day at Island Beach State Park. The shack was kind of deserted except for a single client sitting at the counter. I picked the place over others based on Yelp reviews so i was worried that the reviews were misleading. No crowd no need to wait for a table! Ordering was easy, the food came within 15 minutes and was delicious, the lemonade could be refilled at will at the counter. I couldn’t be happier! I couldn’t ask for more after a long day hanging out at the beach and clamming bay side.

Lobster rolls aren’t made with lobster meat. They’re imitation crab. I’ve never seen this in my life. How do you sell lobster rolls on your menu, but it’s not actually lobster?

To the owners response. I was there in summer and the lobster roll ISN’T lobster. We have a house nearby. Charging that price for a lobster roll that’s not lobster is insane.

Best crab cake sandwich around, so good. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I have to try other food on the menu but for now I a. addicted to the crab cake sandwich.

It was unfortunate that the previous owners sold. It was great to see that the new management kept most of the atmosphere the same but the quality of their food clearly decreased. It seems as if they bought frozen packaged fish in a box from an aisle in a supermarket. The food wasn’t horrible but the new fish and chips for example did not taste fresh at all and it seems they are buying the cheapest food they can get. Additionally the portion size for the fries was too small. If they expect to maintain the large crowd that Crabby Rick’s has had for many years, they need to put more effort into the quality of their food instead of replacing ingredients in their dishes with cheaper ones.

The place isn't very comfortable since you will be sitting in outdoor benches, I ordered fish tacos, but apparently nobody taught them that they need to heat the tortillas before. So they gave for 20$ cold tacos, the flavor was ok, but with 2 small shrimps per taco and plenty salad, they should be called salad tacos with shrimp instead. the staff are very young and disorganized, so the service is poor. I would not recommend this place besides for a takeaway snacks.

Ordered fried seafood and fries for takeout. Lots of breading, almost no seafood, especially on the clam strips (pictured).
