Conveniently located between an Ice Cream shop and Marijuana dispensary, this joint doesn’t disappoint too much. Very welcoming and friendly staff, extensive and interesting lunch menu which includes some Colombian specialties as well. Went there for the dogs and their size is tremendous, weren’t bad but not up to the best Jersey standards. In my opinion for a good hot dog, less is more. French fries and Onion Rings were mediocre and average.

I loved the setting inside. I felt like I was back in the 50's!

Inspired by the book "Raw Dog" by comedian Jamie Loftus I took my son to try Dicky's Dogs in South Toms River. The whole of the restaurant is immaculately clean and the service was really great. My son got a standard dog and I got the "Border Dog" with slow cooked pork and house made pico. The dog was massive and generally tasty although I'd be lying if I said I didn't care that there was no snap. The toppings were the real star of this dog, absolutely brilliantly paired with the flavor of the dog and the bun was robust enough to not fall under the pressure and moisture of the pork but also soft enough to not make it a tough eat.Word to the uninitiated: their portions are HUGE. I decided to get onion rings on the side (they were good, but I underestimated the size). I also ordered the fried plantains with the house made guacamole (on the menu as "Guacamole"). WOW. I could honestly go back just for those, it was an entire meals worth of food and the guac was probably the best I have ever had.10/10 would go back and try more.Kid-friendliness: Clearly a family owned restaurant that values patrons with young children.

While the name is still the same, the new owners are serving up Columbian food. The inside was very clean and they still have the foot long hotdog on the menu. The place was packed at noon on a Saturday. The only draw back are the drug addicts going in and out of the weed dispensary next door. Zombies everywhere.
