We were there to celebrate my dad's 86th birthday The waitress was very unenthusiastic you could tell she didn't want to be there or she just didn't want to help I was very disappointed because my father was very upset at how rude she was.

We like trying to new places and giving them a shot and who doesn't like a some solid diner food? We were there between lunch and breakfast and it wasn't busy at all. Maybe 10 people total in the entire place. The wait staff was very nice. The food was not good. My husband ordered an omelet and it was so dry he could barely chew it. Asked for it to be taken away and they still charged us for it because he didn't want a replacement item. They should have taken it off the bill honestly. Coffee tasted like the pot was from 1980's and never cleaned. (wet sock) I had a pork roll egg and cheese on English muffin and it was okay. Also the speakers in the restaurant are blown out and the radio was playing loud enough that it was hard to ignore. It also looked like they hadn't cleaned the walls or floors in years. The ceiling vents were caked in dust. We wont be returning but I am writing this review mainly because they still charged us for food we didn't eat and returned which is messed up in my opinion.

The waitress upcharged me for no reason. When I asked for a seltzer water she charged me another $3.00. So my breakfast which was originally $11.45, came to $16. I will not be going back. FYI: Take the time & go to ihop.
