Tried this place a while back looking for a good Italian hot dog. Growing up in Newark I was expecting a sandwich comparable to two of the greats Dickey Dee's or Jimmy Buff's. I have to say this place did not disappoint. Taste profile as well as quantity and quality of ingredients was spot on. My only criticism was the bread it was a little different taste from what is used up north probably the bakery making it. That aside if you haven't had a good Italian Hot Dog in a while, an authentic dog, not a make believe Italian hot dog with french fries thrown on top give this place a try you won't be disappointed. It can hold its own against its northern brothers and I will return when the hankering for a good dog hits.

He hasnt been open since march 2020...i hope he doesnt close the store completly cause i have been goin there since i was 15 im 33 an i love joe i talked to him other day i hope he re opens man...

It’s amazing here! The food is tasty & the waitresses are very friendly! A great place for a date or lunch/dinner with friends. Great nostalgic tunes on the radio! Good deals, 2 for $20 ranges. You get an appetizer to share or 2 salads and 2 dinners. Good choice of drinks, Overall I had an amazing time and would definitely come back!

It was just OK, food was average didn't taste as good as usual, tasted like it was straight out of a bag. Food was ok service was a bit slow, waiter was a little slow but did ok.
