Manhattan Bagel has a friendly and welcoming staff, which I really appreciated. However, I wasn't very impressed with the food. The bagels and other items were just average and didn't stand out compared to other places I've been. It's an okay spot for a quick bite, but not my first choice.

Cream cheese lox spread tasted off. Untoasted bagel had chunks of burnt bread stuck to the bottom. Bagel was replaced. Coffee was cold. They made a fresh pot. Table wobbled back and forth. Had to be very careful not to spill my hot coffee. They did try to make up for the bad experience by giving us two free cookies which i appreciated 6/30/23..

They have the BEST BAGELS I have ever have. In my life. The Gourmet French Toast Bagels. Are out of this world. I bought a dozen the morning I left. Took them home. Put them in my carryon and flew back to Indiana. I wish they would have these out in the Midwest. They have something like it at Panera. But it's nothing like it. This is one of my most favorite foods that I look forward to when I come to jersey 3xs a year. Omg. So so so so good. You have to try them if your ever...
