Update 9/13/25

Still nothing from this sketchy business. You would think they’d care even a little bit since I’m local, word of mouth as well as social media spreads far but they don’t. And this isn’t slander because this entire story is TRUE and they know it! Sal, the owner, and his employee Jeff are completely ignoring this issue! You would think they’d want me to go away but that won’t happen til they refund me the $400 for these unusable gift certificates they sold me! We are not talking about $10 we are talking about $400!!! I won’t let this go. Be warned about this establishment. Maybe the restaurant is a front for something….who knows!

UPDATE! After speaking with the owner he assured me that if the people I gave the gift certificates to went to a different location, still in the Bronx, that they would definitely accept it. Supposedly the location is the Tom’s River owner, Sal’s parents. I didn’t want to ask my friends to go again to a different location but reluctantly I did and one of the couples did agree to go. Well once again at the restaurant they were told they would NOT accept the gift certificates!!! I am beyond angry and called the restaurant immediately when I found this out which was this past Saturday. Lots of apologizing and a promise of taking care of it and that I would get a call back by Tuesday. Well it’s Thursday and nothing from them! I am embarrassed that I even gifted anything from this place. It’s inexcusable. I’ve been forgiving and patient and trusting for way too long. I would never recommend this place. Their lack of customer service is disgusting. This has been going on since May and was a gift I gave in honor of my mom who had just passed away. Now I guess I go to the Better Business Bureau. I WANT MY $400 back! They should be ashamed of themselves!

I can’t say anything about the food but I will say something about customer service/ownership. After calling this restaurant twice to confirm that I could purchase a gift card there and gift it to friends in the Bronx for the location there, I went into the restaurant, once again confirmed with them and then purchased $400 in gift cards. These gift cards were given as a thank you to two people who supported my mom in her last days , she recently passed and I gave it to them at her memorial. Well they went into the Bronx location (I asked specifically about the Tremont Ave location) they had their meal and when it was finished they presented the certificate and was told it wouldn’t be accepted. They ended up paying for the meal and contacted me to let me know. To say my sister and I were mortified is an understatement. My sister contacted and spoke to Sal at Tom’s River and he had remembered me purchasing them and asking about the Bronx location. He admittedly told her that he thought i said another location also in the Bronx and that it was accepted there and they wouldn’t have a problem using them there. So now we would be sending them to a different location and chance it happening again? We couldn’t chance that so one of the people who I gave the cert called the supposed location to make sure before going and was told NO once again! So as of now I am out $400 and have left 2 detailed messages with Sal who said they could be used as well as fb messages and Instagram!!! And I am completely ignored! I’m out 400! Inexcusable and I will do anything necessary to get my money back. We were willing to let it go and have them just go to the right location but he obviously misled us and that’s why we are now being ignored. I won’t let this rest and all while my family is still grieving my mom and we tried to do something nice for people who took care of her. Sketchy establishment.

The food and service is good however the restaurant has to be the loudest restaurant I have ever been to. It is one large open area with all brick walls, concrete floor and an open kitchen. Table for 2 had to shout across the table, couldn’t hear my self think. Told the manager and he said he knew it is loud in there and they were looking at ideas to cut down the noise. I won be back again until they do something about the noise. We couldn’t eat fast enough to get out of there.

After not being able to get into another local italian restaurant, we gave Patricia's a call, and they said they could seat us right away - so we headed over.
Free and ample parking, with outdoor seating, and plenty of seats inside. Our party of 5 was greeted quickly by Jeff and given some bread while he took care of opening our bottles of wine. He went over the specials, etc and we ordered the Meatballs as an appetizer.
We had a variety of different dinners, from chicken parm to penne ala vodka. First of all, the food was absolutely outstanding! Secondly, holy portion-sizes! HUGE. I believe all 5 of us had food leftover to take home. I barely ate half of my entree, and was able get 2 lunches out of the leftovers!
Atmosphere was pleasant, and although the dining room was about half-full when we arrived, it filled up quickly over the course of our meal, including people sitting outside.
Very large dining room, so Patricia's can accommodate a lot of people however, we found it a little difficult to hear one another at our table.
Otherwise, the Service was great and friendly - and I will definitely return again.

The food was OUTSTANDING. Special dishes to note were the Zucchini Flowers appetizer and the Pork Chop Parmigiana with Bolognese sauce. Haven’t tasted Italian food this good since being in Italy.

The staff were nice and pleasant. Should have been more informative about what comes with the dishes. The salmon came with a potato croquet, but we didn’t know so we ordered a side of roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes looked good on the outside but were undercooked. The salmon was dry, my steak was done to a nice medium. The dining is loud, and we were there at 5:00 before it got busy. I would not recommend eating outside, seagulls keeping a close eye on your plate.

The service was very good. The fried calamari was to salty in my opinion. Idk why they sat us next to a party that was going on when there was other tables empty, I might give it one more try, but if your going expect it to be extremely loud.

Don’t go on a Sunday. 2 servers, dirty tables everywhere, service very slow, server overwhelmed, very loud, food was ok at best, for $140 for 2 people I’ll spend elsewhere. Zero management.
