Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Just no interest at the Rita's Ocean County mall! A young woman told me we don't open until 12:00,it was 11:45,ok let's make time and go back.
Nope still not ready to open she says I still have everything out can't do the ice cream!
Worst service get efficient workers please.

I love Rita's it's clean the ice cream is excellent. As long as they clean there machine you will have a freak experience.

I love Rita’s, and was surprised to see that they were open in the mall in the winter. I got the smallest size of Swedish Fish italian ice, which used to be my favorite flavor when I lived here. I can say that the flavor has changed, sadly, and tastes more artificial. However, the service was excellent and it’s not really anyone’s fault at this location that the flavor has changed.

Great Italian ICE Treats to cool you off on a Hot Day ?

Thanks for having an open kitchen which reveals your mistakes to anyone walking in the middle of Ocean County Mall.I remember visiting this place a lot the mid 2010’s and I’m glad I did NOT re-eat here today. Shame that food safety standards have fallen , even in good old Ocean County, New Jersey!

The owner or how ever is in charge have to put more attention to the custard machine's por employees struggle every time we go because the machines are always not working properly

I was eating their new gelanti ice cream and i found a hair ball inside disgusting.

I ordered an ice from a very friendly worker. I gave her my American Express Card and she told me that they don’t accept that card. I did not have another credit card and I showed her I only had two dollars. She was polite and said sorry and immediately threw the ice in the garbage in front of me! What a lesson to teach young people. I could have easily paid the balance the next time I was at the mall or she could have just given me a free ice, not that I wanted something for free, but to throw it out......I could never do that to anyone.
