Not the slightest clue how this place gets good reviews, but then again it's NJ. Came here on New Year's Eve and while I understand it's a busy night, I would never come back. We were seated in the middle area and it was beyond noisy. I felt like I was at a football game with waiters almost running into our table half the time. The crowd was a mixture of Tony Soprano wannabe's and 60 year old women dressed like Snookey. Every waiter appeared to be 16 running around like chickens without their head. The kid who served us literally took our order, dropped it off and was never to be seen from again. I've never had bad sushi, but my whole table said the sushi had 0 taste and was super mushy. I got the chicken hibachi, thinking it would be made at the grill, but was brought slices of chicken with sauce drizzled over it with some broccoli. The rest of my table was underwhelmed as well with their orders and I could have gotten the same, if not better quality food, at any Asian fusion restaurant in our neck of the woods. Won't be returning...

I like this place the food is great. I feel they need to have more bar stools by the outside bar!! It's ridiculous, that a lot of people have to stand! There isn't enough bar stools and chairs by the round tables. Who wants to stand all night and to eat??? Don't you want your customers comfortable and happy????

This place is spectacular! Amazing food! NY Strip steak is insanely good! Fried Rice! Apps! Also service is unreal! Super attentive waiters and staff.

Just came back from an awesome dinner at Shogun. We have been looking for good Peking Duck. Found it here. To start husband had a green salad, pinot grigio. I had hot and sour soup with Sauvignon Blanc. Delicious. Duck took a little while but less time than at other places. We were seated right by the window. Beautiful view. The Duck when it came, along with not only the regular sides of scallion and cucumber straws, but 3 different sauces. So amazing, crispy delicious skin. We finished with Mochi ice cream. Different and yummy. Cannot recommend highly enough!! Yes, it's expensive, but if you go in expecting that, you won't be surprised. Our waiter was extremely nice, considerate and friendly.

Went for dinner there last night. Everything was exceptional from service to food. As a matter of fact, we will be back on Sunday. I can't say enough about the quality and taste of the food! Appetizer was steamed dumplings and dinners were Beef and Broccoli & Curry Chicken! Excellent!!!

Food is good however waited over an hour for food. Servers didn’t keep us abreast of the issues in kitchen. Really felt manager should have comp’d something for terrible wait.
