Dining at Tapas in Toms River was an absolutely delightful experience. This kosher restaurant is a true gem — from the stylish interior and inviting ambiance to the creative and flavorful dishes, everything about the place felt thoughtfully curated and elevated.
We started with the sliders and fries, which were perfectly cooked and full of rich, savory flavor. The pretzel buns were soft with a nice chew, and the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The fries were crisp and fresh, served with quality ketchup and dipping sauces that brought the whole dish together. You can tell the kitchen pays close attention to quality and presentation.
For dessert, we tried the waffle ice cream dish — it looked beautiful and tasted even better! It had just the right balance of sweetness and texture, a perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the evening. They made excellent menu suggestions and were happy to accommodate our preferences. The service here is what you’d expect from a high-end dining experience.
Although the price point is a bit higher, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of food and service you receive. I highly recommend Tapas to anyone looking for a refined kosher dining experience in New Jersey. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious but the service was over the top amazing!! I had two servers, H and S who served us with a smile, so politely and kindly. They helped us choose what to order and were so on top of everything. These girls’ service make me want to come back!!!
Delicious. Love that this place is mostly appetizers great concept. I highly recommend the mango habanero chicken poppers bbq brisket nachos and tapas flatbread, the cauliflower is also really good drizzled with silan (date honey) and tahini. For dessert got chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream really hit the spot. Highly recommend Tapas for your next night out,reasonable priced too.
