Organized a graduation luncheon and used the patio terrace area with outdoor bar. Great atmosphere for a party or small gathering. Beautiful and well kept grounds. Service and food were good and they were flexible with our setup and clean up. Mike, the owner, was attentive and helpful. We will use them again in the future.

I had been there twice previously. The banquet room we were in I had not seen before. Outside grounds are very nice. Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and bar. At least 2 banquet rooms that I know of.

I attended a business dinner there and thought it was pretty good. The attempt to make the interior seem slightly rustic (even though it's a relatively modern building) actually works and doesn't detract from the overall atmosphere of a nice high-quality event catering venue.
The outdoor seating area looked really nice, too, with a bar and umbrella-covered tables... even a coy pond.
The servers and staff were pleasant and attentive. And, while the food was decent, it was nothing to rave about. On the upside, the portions were fairly substantial given the number of people at each table.
My bottom line is this: would I consider choosing the Barnyard & Carriage House for an event if I were shopping for a venue? The answer is: yes, I would.
