Fusion 27 never disappoints. I attended my first time on the pasta night on Wednesday. Three of us had one of the very tasty pasta specials. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the pork chop special. As always this staff is attentive and never rushes the diners. Joanne C.

This is one of the many restaurants in the Totowa area. I just wonder why it took me so long to find it. To start with, the food was excellent. There was a varied selection of unusual appetizers and entrees, some on the standard menu, others were specials. My husband and I shared the chicken soup special, with zucchini and dumplings for a starter. The waiter offered to split it into two bowls. It turned out that we each had plenty. It was delicious. Our friends ordered a salad to be split, also plentiful. I chose the special pork chop for my entree. It was stuffed with ricotta and spinach and topped with a light mushroom sauce, then lightly breaded and baked. It was absolutely delicious. My friend chose the pistachio crusted cod special and assured me it was as delicious as it looked. The men ordered short ribs from the regular menu and were equally pleased. I forgot to mention the delicious home baked bread they served. Perhaps that was part of the reason I had to doggie-bag a portion of my entree. Needless to say, we were too full to even look at the dessert menu. The prices were very fair. I also liked that the prices for the specials were much in line with those on the regular menu. It is a BYOB, which I also find appealing The wait staff was efficient and accommodating. My only complaint was the noise level was somewhat high. This is not surprising as it was a Saturday and all the tables were occupied. I look forward to returning, opting for a weekday.

This Fusion 27 experience was stellar. Upon arrival, owner Jose warmly welcomed and seated our group of seven guests, including three who had not previously been to this fine BYOB restaurant. As we enjoyed drinks along with some fresh bread, the friendly and enthusiastic servers informed and entertained us with a visual presentation of specials via tablet. The Fusion 27 staff afforded us ample time to consider the regular menu and specials and subsequently paced the meal - starters, entrees, and desserts - perfectly. This reviewer consumed every bit of the minestrone soup, cannelloni special, and peanut butter tartufo; the others around the table followed suit with their choices. In the end, there was not a morsel left on the table. It was not a surprise to see this restaurant packed, and it was appreciated that we never felt rushed. In the end, we enjoyed three-plus hours of outstanding food and service with fun and easy conversation. With regard to this experience, the football official in our group would quickly raise his arms to signal "touchdown."

I rarely leave reviews. Maybe twice in my life. One for a terrible experience and one for an incredible massage. But after celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday here, I feel absolutely compelled to share how blown away I was. From the moment we arrived, Jianna was extraordinary. She is truly exceptional at what she does. Anything we asked for, any customization, any adjustment was handled with zero hesitation and genuine care. She made us feel completely taken care of the entire evening. Hats off to the chef as well. Every dish was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. While we were there, a large group of about 11 women were having their annual holiday dinner and you could tell they were enjoying themselves just as much as we were. The whole atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming. The restaurant is a smaller venue but with plenty of comfortable seating. I made a same day reservation and they still accommodated us without issue. It truly felt like finding a hidden gem I never knew existed. I also have to add that we found this place thanks to a recommendation from ChatGPT. I gave very specific parameters for my daughter's birthday dinner and this restaurant exceeded every expectation. Thank you to Jianna, the chef, and the entire staff for making this such a memorable night. You all did an extraordinary job. We will absolutely be back.
