Appetizers were very good (meatballs; mussels).

A little disappointed in the entrees. Stuffed calamari was a bit tough. Papadella/short rib dish not much taste.

Server very helpful and attentive.

Atmosphere consistent with similar venues

A little pricy for a BYOB.

it's-me!

I'd been here once before - during the week & during the day - and had an excellent meal. I returned for a special occasion meal on a Friday night and realized my mistake once our food arrived.
The staff is lovely and everyone who works here truly is accommodating and professional however, our food was terrible on this particular night and for what we paid, very very disappointing. In fact, I became ill afterward.
Also, ventilation is terrible and we became overwhelmed with cooking odors plus, it was hot, stuffy and very loud.
This made it very hard to enjoy our meal (which we already disliked). I'm sad that I'm writing this review, because I really like this restaurant and the people who work here.
I want to believe that this last experience was an anomoly and hope to return again one day, when it less crowded.

They had 4 open tables and the server wouldn't seat me because he said it was 'too busy'

Loved every element of this dining experience! Food is carefully (dare I say lovingly) prepared. Simple, yet creative. Early on, table talk focused on when we were coming back!

First time having dinner here. We didn't have a reservation, but were still able to accommodate me and my friend. Excellent food and service. I will surely be back again.

This is a destination restaurant. Number one choice on my Italian friend's recommendations list, and I can see why. Loved the Antipasto Siciliano appetizer assortment platter. We weren't sure what we were eating, but it was all delicious! I had the special pasta with sea urchin in a garlicky sauce. Happy to take some home for lunch tomorrow. The fresh pasta in everyone's dishes was amazing. Highly recommend the limoncello for dessert. It's great to share!

This is such a fantastic and authentic restaurant! It features food from Sicily. My husband was born in Sicily, so he is very discerning when it comes to authenticity of Sicilian food. The server was delightful, food impeccable and the atmosphere more modern (no red flocked wallpaper or pictures of Sinatra). There was also a lovely man singing fun classic songs. Not too loud so you could enjoy your meal.

Parking: Small lot behind restaurant. We were able to get a spot, but arrived at about 6.

Discovered this place from social media. All I can say is after each visit I simply could not wait to go back. So far I have gone 4 times in one week and the food and service gets better and better. If you are more into parms and paninis, then this is not the place for you. If you want to try something a bit more traditional then this place should be at the top of your list. The place is BYOB with a great menu and weekly specials. Ask them about there monthly events as well.

After almost 10 years in the States, I finally found a legit-authentic southern Italian restaurant!! Not Italian American but real Italian. For any paesanos missing our healthy and buonissimo food, go visit this place !

I dined at Made in Italy today for 1st time, and it will not be my last (ci vediamo presto, Joe!).
The porchetta appetizer was thinly sliced and flavorful with a caramel-colored ribbon of seared "lardo" on its edge.
It was served with delicately fried zucchini flowers that were light - not heavy or greasy - and stuffed with just the right amount of mozzerella. A salad of arugala was topped with the thinnest slices of fresh pear, drizzled with balsamic glaze and flecked with fresh, gorgonzola cheese.
And the pasta cacio e pepe was spectacular: perfectly al-dente with just the right amount of seasoning and cheese.
Our server Joe was amicable and enthusiastic, but gave us enough space to enjoy our meal privately (a rare quality found in an excellent server, btw). Che meravigliosa!
As an Italian-American, it warmed my heart to hear the sound of Sicilian being spoken in the kitchen, as well as a menu where the Italian dishes are spelled correctly! That may not seem like much to some but for ME, it tells me a lot about a restaurant before I even step through the door! Which I plan to do again very soon ;-)
