Had a hankering for fish & chips and a beer. Murphs was nearby. Walked in and there was an immediate urine-like odor. It did dissipate but still, and might have been my clue to leave. Ordered thefish & chips and a Yuengling draft. Beer cold in a good sized glass but tasted off, like it was stale? Ordered a Stella which was better. Fish & chips came out and wasn't as I expected from an Irish pub. 4 thin pieces of fried fish, like a panko coating, overcooked. Chips weren't the steakhouse type but thin cut. Also a little overcooked. Small cup of Cole slaw was decent. Bartender and server were very nice. Beer prices are terrific $3 for the Yuengling, $5 for Stella!!!! Fish was $10. Can't beat the prices but was a disappointment.

Went for the first time yesterday, happened to be their 60th Anniversary celebration. Everyone we spoke with were very warm and welcoming!! DJ Johnny Gunz was spinning an incredible mix of music! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Great home town type of bar where the service is excellent. The burgers are amazing, and the beer selection plenty. The type of place where you can spend a few hours and feel like it's home.
Well, and the service is excellent. But today a girl started to tell me racist comments about me. I am a Hispanic person and because I was listening to Hispanic music, she started to discriminate against me by telling me that I was not Italian or American to be in that place. And by which I mean. That seems to me a total lack of respect, just like I told her bartender and the gentlemen who were there. I hope they change that because racist people should not be anywhere.

Imagine trying to enjoy a beer after a hard days work and the bar you choose has 7 of the 8 Tv’s tuned to fox “news” with the sound ON!!!!
