It's always lovely at Robert's Scratch Kitchen. My boyfriend and I come here on special occasions and it has never disappointed. I really appreciated how kind the staff was to put us in a more private area so myself, my boyfriend, and my Godparents, who I hadn't seen in quite some time, could sit and talk and clearly hear each other without having to yell, as there was a beautiful engagement party going on at the same time we were there. So, so very nice! Thank you! The food never disappoints and neither does the service. Everything was impeccable as always. Thank you for another great meal and visit. ❤️

We have regularly visited Robert's Scratch Kitchen many, many times over the past 8 years, and it NEVER fails to impress and satisfy us. Somehow it always manages to exceed our expectations. The meals are always impeccably presented, perfectly cooked, and arrive at the table at just the right temperature. The wait staff has always been warm and friendly, professional and efficient, and very knowledgeable about all the "specials" and standard entrees. They are always available but never hover. RSK is truly a treasure, and has become a standard "go to" for us for both special occasions and "just because" (as in "just because we want a fabulous meal"). Pricing is on point for us; we feel that RSK gives us one helluva value for the cuisine of this calibre. The fact that it's a BYOB is another plus for us. It's always fun to bring a bottle of vino to pair with Robert's exquisite food fare. Sometimes we're disappointed with the wine we bring, but never disappointed with what comes out of the kitchen. We recommend Robert's Scratch Kitchen VERY highly.

The food and service were excellent. I had a chicken dish that was on the daily specials. Chicken with peppers and roasted potatoes and it came with vegetables. After bring us our entrees, our server came over with a dish of additional chicken for me. He felt the amount of chicken in the dish was not enough so he gave me more chicken.

Robert's Scratch Kitchen doesn't disappoint from a standpoint of selection of cuisine, presentation, taste, value and service. The only issue is that the noise level was very loud. When we arrived at 5:30, the restaurant was only partially occupied and there was a lovely lone musician. All good. An hour later, the restaurant was full and between the music and the conversation at other tables the sound level was extremely high. I am not sure Robert can do anything about that, as the dining room has a high ceiling. Bottom line, the restaurant is terrific, but if a high noise level is an issue for you, either go at opening or be prepared.

RSK never disappoints. Wonderful staff. Fabulous food. There was even some lovely live entertainment when I was there recently on a Thursday. BYOB is the icing on the cake.

Our first time at Robert's Scratch Kitchen and we loved it! The menu and specials were extensive and there were so many things to choose from. The watermelon salad was incredible - light, refreshing and flavorful. The shrimp arrabiata also very good. Squid ink linguine with shrimp and crab was excellent. Plenty of seafood, homemade pasta - delicious! My husband's veal chop parm also terrific! They actually showed pictures of all the specials on a tablet which was very clever and the first time I've seen this. The service was polite, attentive and friendly. Being a BYOB is also a plus! We enjoyed our dinner tremendously and will be coming back with friends!

What a pleasant experience (after not returning since 2019 after moving 15 miles away and 3 yrs of various health issues)! Starting with the greeting by the lovely Nicole, the perfect, friendly hostess to start the night. Cordial greeting by the person explaining the Specials and opening the wine. Then, we were lucky enough to be greeted by one of the most friendly, efficient waitresses we've ever had (Danae). Caesar Salad was perfect. The Appetizer we wanted was made possible, appreciatively, by the Chef - the Shrimp Beeps but with the tastiest garlic & oil sauce (I also asked for no salt or spice). A substantial amount at a reasonable price (as compared to all the places we order it). It had a certain grilled taste I've only tasted one other place, yet as tender and perfectly cooked as could be. My friend liked her Branzino (but she's picky and didn't like/need the toppings on it)(She likes SEAR, Little Falls, Branzino the best) . I loved my Grilled Veal Chop with a very good wine reduction sauce. We didn't order dessert. My friend ordered her Macchiato but she's used to a smaller, stronger blend (Nicolas has the best) but it was ok. All-in-all, it was an unexpected pleasurable evening. A friendly staff and accommodating chef goes a long way! We will be back!

The service was on-point just a bit quick and cold. However, the food quality more than made up for it. Also, this past weekend they had very limited specials. For example, I remember this restaurant offering dishes like black squid ink linguine, raw oysters, etc. Selections were more basic this time so we missed those items on the menu. Maybe next time, still giving 5 stars.
