I would give this place ten stars if I could. This place is great. My wife has celiac and they are always attentive to her dietary needs which is a big plus for me. The food is great. Prepared well and really huge portions which is great for me because I'm a big eater. Their veal shop is out of this world along with their skirt steak just to mention a couple of dishes. No matter what you order you can't go wrong. I tried their short rib over pasta and I loved it. I'm not even crazy about short ribs accept when I had them at Robert's Scratch Kitchen. They way he makes those short ribs is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. For the desserts, out of this world. The service is great. Any dietary needs, food allergies they will accommodate with great tasting food. If you want to any substitutions they will accommodate you. Great staff. For ambiance, the place is decorated beautifully. Really classy, and really clean. Can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a great meal and service this is the place for you.

Don't get me wrong, I love this place, and will probably be back. Last night however, I had a problem with my dish. It was special and when asked for the price was quoted one thing and then the bill came in it was $6 more. When asked, the waiter got no clear response, the dish itself was overdone, maybe that's why overcharge was noticed. Other than that, the food was amazing. Never had better cheese cake in my life, just melts away in your mouth.

This is my go to restaurant when I am craving Italian food yumminess! I have celiac which is an allergy to gluten and can’t risk cross contamination. Their calamari are the best! Even my friends who can eat gluten love their food! Also it’s BYOB.

I recently dined at Roberts Scratch Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed, as it was my first time dining here. The ambiance of the restaurant felt wonderfully homey, adding to the overall dining experience. The filet mignon I ordered was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend Roberts Scratch Kitchen for anyone seeking delicious food in a cozy atmosphere.

Food is freshly made to order and delicious. Robert's takes food allergens very seriously and there are gluten free options for those with Celiac and Non Celiac gluten intolerance. Saturday's are very busy. They're also open for lunch.

Home to their signature veal chop, this establishment located at a strip mall off of Minnisink Road in Totowa is where a couple of my friends and I were looking for a new place to try our Sunday dinner and happily ended up at Robert’s Scratch Kitchen. Reservations are highly recommended and easily done with OpenTable. Upon arrival, the interior was elegant without being too stiff or stuffy. We were graciously greeted by the host, and so began our delicious dining experience. We were seated within a few minutes. The menu consisted of a variety of Italian, seafood, steak, pork, and veal dishes that changed with the seasons. The use of an iPad to show the rotated specials was a novel idea. For appetizers, we decided to share the fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, burrata eggplant, and crab cake. As our entrees, we opted for Rigatoni, consisting of fresh pasta, crumbled Italian sausage, peas, crushed red pepper, pink sauce, shaved parmesan, Linguini and Clams, Branzino, and Short Rib Pasta. Complimentary warm bread with butter started our meal. Being a “scratch kitchen," the food was served and made with the freshest ingredients, meaning that there were no frozen or processed foods used in preparing meals for patrons. The food was delicious, and the portions were plentiful. Throughout the meal, the staff, including our servers Danielle and Juan, were attentive without being excessive and did a great job of making sure we were all comfortable. The dinner price was fair for a nice, quality meal. The fact that it is also a BYOB is a bonus. There are a lot of really good restaurants in this area, but this has to be one of the best, so we can recommend this place.

In the past the food was good but it has gone down hill recently. We ordered 3 entrees for take out and two were in edible. The Penne Vodka barely had any sauce and was bland beyond bland. The Diver scallops same thing no flavor, tried salt, balsamic glaze nothing helped. The Black linguini with crab meat was OK, but too much oil weighed it down. For the prices they charge you should be getting five star food. Editing my review since I got food poisoning from the linguini and crab dish.

Had this restaurant for a while on my list to try out, and boy, are their pasta dishes to die for. Everything tastes so fresh! Huge selection in general with all different dishes, many various specials, but is a BYOB. Thankfully Total Wine is around the corner, but I definitely should have made my research more thorough. Parking was nice an ample, even with other businesses right next door. Strongly recommend making reservations, as they do generally run busy. Thankfully wait staff is generally on top of things, and the kitchen prepares food pretty quick. The ambiance is a bit on the romantic side, so if a date night, this is definitely the spot for you! A girl's night isn't a bad idea either, the food truly is good. The short rib pasta was nice and tender, the gnochhi bolognese very rich in flavor, and the peanut butter dessert, which the name escapes me, was mouth watering delicious. Would definitely come again, with a bottle of wine, to enjoy more

The seasonal updates are the finishing touch here. Fresh burrata with smashed mushrooms in pesto & olive oil?? If you don't open yourself to the specials then you miss the point of RSK! Rigatoni Napolitana is a hit as well. All the seafood is very fresh everyone (he must live on Fulton Street.) IYKYK

5 Star Dinner as always. From the fresh oysters to the gluten free lobster rigatoni I can't get enough of this place. The best gluten free bread , if you are allergic you know how valuable that is... :D My go to dinner spot 10/10
