The new owners kicked out my 93 year old grandpa because he didn’t order enough. He just comes to drink a cup of coffee to get out of the house. The bagels aren’t made in house any more and aren’t good quality. The owners are incredibly disrespectful and have lost a family’s worth of customers. It’s a shame that after 20 years of coming to Totowa bagels, the new ownership chased out their most loyal customers.

I went here with my cousin for the first time on June 11th 2025 and this bagel shop has exceeded our expectations. The owner is very friendly and asked us questions to get to know us better. The cook is a very funny and chill dude. He recommended the grilled chicken on a bagel for my cousin. I ordered a cheese burger and the cook recommended if I wanted to be spontaneous and try it on a bagel. I did and it was definitely sooo much better. I will be coming back here more often!

My wife went yesterday to grab snacks for the kids. She got a moldy muffin! We didn’t notice until later that night when he was about to eat it. Unfortunately I ate the other one but couldn’t tell if it was as obvious because that muffin wasn’t as plain as this one. I hope it was ok.

When this place opened up they was good now horrible asked for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll extra butter first of all egg was like paper thin hardly nothing the butter well I don't know what happened to that may had just evaporated in thin air and the nerve for it to be 7 dollars unbelievable burger king puts more and effort into their food smh

Staff was so kind! Food was yummy and their pastries are to die for. Shout out to that crumb cake lol I did a too good too go from them but I also ended up getting some food because I had just got out of work. Staff were friendly suggesting we eat there even though they were closing soon. I had a chicken wrap which was delicious and also a crumb cake which again was so good

Burger was like a dry hockey puck, like a microwaved frozen burger on a dry Kaiser roll, no cheese, no ketchup. Rubbery fries. It was my first time here but I would not come back based on this meal.
Bagels are super fresh and owner is there all the time.

New to the area stopped in with my husband to check out possible bagel spot close to home. We placed our order the lady that took our order was very rude. Did not understand our order. We had to repeat multiple times and each time she made faces as if she was bothered. She made my husband sandwich with no gloves, then proceeded to take another order handling money at the register that went back to handle the sandwich at this point we did not want the sandwich anymore, but we’re already charged and store Policy apparently is no refunds. After reading other reviews of this place and they still are in business is mind-boggling to me what seems to be consistent in other reviews is the blonde haired lady that works there. What a shame that businesses have lost good customer service. I do not recommend this place. I guess I will be taking my business to the other bagel place up the road on Totowa Avenue.

Just stopped in ordered a tailor ham, egg and cheese and a Turkey sandwich. With may on both sides, the lady at the front counter did not understand we explained. She gave an attitude and douse the bread. In Mayo, we asked for some of the Mayo to be scrape off, she did not like this. Continued with an attitude handled our food bare hands. No gloves, then preceded to the. Register to handle money. Very bad service and handling of food. Needless to say, we left the sandwich and their store policy is no refund. The service was so bad and disgusting. We left the food .

I placed a order for a salami and cheese sandwich on a roll and the lady in the front thats always there (blonde hair) told me i should get something else because what i wanted takes long she suggested i get a bagel with cream instead which i did not want, this is not my first time at this location and the customer service by her is always rude.
