This unassuming cafe is on the lower level of the Carteret Arms apartments. The residence is a place for the elderly and thus the hours are a bit wonky. Provided you want a meal before 6pm, this should be a go-to spot. \n\nEverything is delicious. They lean towards fried foods, but have a great selection of seafood dishes and grilled options. The food was delicious!Basa, wings, shrimp, green beans, zucchini sticks, Mac and cheese, onion rings…yum!Going back for the blackened Basa.The amount of food is very generous. I took leftovers home for a couple more meals.Oh, and the chocolate cake ain’t bad either.
My wife and I eat often from Cafe TOAST. The food is flavorful and on point. The prices are even better for the quality of the food that you'll order. I would suggest calling/ordering about 40min before you actually want your food. A nice small area that offers dine in as well.
