Such good pastries! We tried a chicken one and a spinach and feta croissant. They were quickly warmed up and were perfect. Service was also super friendly.

My wife is obsessed with cafes/ bakeries, especially if there's a French twist to them. This place is charming and enchanting. It has plenty of seating and a cozy couch, along with free wifi making it a great place to work. The food options are endless. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because too many things looked amazing! The owner is a wonderfully kind woman, she was patient with me and answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations on the best sellers. The spinach and feta croissant is to die for. It is a must try in my opinion. It was flaky, warm, buttery, with the perfect amount of salt. I'm usually a person that like hot sauce on everything. But this pastry was perfect just as it was. I also got the French beignets, chocolate and raspberry. If you come here, ask for everything to be warmed up, and sit and enjoy the meal you just got. I can't wait to bring my wife back and try that they have in their lunch menu along with the pastries they have.

I've enjoyed the desserts from here, and the plain croissants, but I decided to try from their Creole Bistro menu yesterday 2/11/23. I'm really glad I did, it was really good! The oxtail was very tender, and the pickled cabbage and carrots were tasty! I was able to get two meals from it, which always makes me happy. I think I might try the fried pork next time. Oh, and I also bought the chocolate mousse, that was really good! It came in a chocolate cup with a chocolate strawberry inside. Definitely a good mousse.

I have been frequenting Cafe du Pain since it opened in 2018. They make classic king cakes which is how I started my adventure with them, but they specialize French and New Orleans style pasty-baking. They also serve quick bites for breakfast and lunch. If I am getting picky, I think that their service can be slow and delayed on days where their baked goods are in high demand, but otherwise they really don't get the attention they should. This visit was special one for Easter, a lavender cheese cake that was absolutely sensational, sugar cookies, macarons, brownies for my husband. The croissants are absolutely wonderful as is their pate lacaye. You can only go right with a visit. I introduced my hair dresser who thinks they have the best chicken sandwiches in town. Just love this place and will continue to patronize so long as my waistline can tolerate.

I wish I could visit this place more often. I ordered the chocolate croissant, trifle, beignets, and cream puffs and they were all delightful. They have a very expansive menu and I look forward towards exploring it more.

Found this place by accident and we were impressed. Of course we wanted to try everything but settled on a french cheese pastry and a croissant. We will be back

Cute little bakery in Lawrenceville. We came on a Saturday afternoon for some tea. They have quite a few tea options, we went with a few spicy flavors which were good. We also got the vegan croissant which I was pleasantly surprised by! It was delicious!

This bakery is a hidden gem in Lawrence shopping center. Freshly baked bread, croissant and baked goodies. You can also find quiche, savory croissant and sandwiches for lunch. I haven't tried their hand craft coffee yet but they seem to have a nice selection on the menu. Staffs are always welcome and friendly. Highly recommend this place! *Note - they don't bake new bread on Sundays as they close on Monday/Tuesday. Best time to visit for freshly based bread/baguette would be Wednesday to Saturday.

I found this place by accident running errands around Princeton. The name a lone piqued my curiosity so I started to Google and Yelp. I am not supposed to indulge in lots of carbs, but I was too curious Interior is not too large, few tables and chairs, but quite a variety of pastries, and sandwiches. I read this bakery is New Orleans French bakery. I bought their beef pate lacaye, French beignet with mixed berry jelly, and almond croissant. Lacaye's beef filling was very good, but the pastry was a bit too flaky and also greasy for me. Jelly filled beignet was moist and tender. Almond croissant also very good. Next time I think I want to try their sandwiches. If you like pastries, and want to steer away from typical American style pastries definitely try this place! The service was very friendly, but was a bit surprised when the woman behind the counter was not wearing a mask.

We found this cute little gem because our puppy classes are close by. We usually get a classic croissant (the freshest always) each and a coffee, along with some desserts and we haven't been disappointed! We Recently had their pumpkin & chocolate truffle cakes, an Oreo chocolate chip cookie, macaroons and scone. All of them were fresh and fantastic and delicious in their own way! We love the vibes and the staff is always friendly & welcoming!

The ladies working in this restaurant were friendly and welcoming! They had an extensive selection of delicious looking pastries. I had a tough time deciding which one to choose. The croissant was light and tasty! I will definitely go back again when/if I am in the area!

Cafe Du Pain Bakery is hidden in the Lawrenceville Shopping center. I was speaking to the owner or manager and she mentioned they're not new but have been there since 2018. A clean New Orleans with French influence bakery offers treats for breakfast, lunch and even delights for our fur babies.Upon entering, the first thing that will hit you is the wonderful aromatic smells. Everything is fresh ranging from their coffee or teas to their baked goods. Need breakfast or lunch, they have incredible breakfast and lunch combos. For tea and coffee lovers, they have varieties of choices. I've had their Americano and their Cafe au latte. They grind their brand fresh for all espresso beverages. Their espresso machine is quite quite impressive. Not sure if they do affogatos. I will be delighted to see in the summertime. If you are short in time, you can order online for a "pick up and go." Personally, I take too long to decide what to order. Having an online menu allows me to take my time and see how I can plan my meals around it to fit into my caloric intake. If I'm going to eat, I'm going to make it worth my while and everything here is worth my while. I'm so glad this place exists as it's now on my top three bakery in Central New Jersey. Their shared strip mall parking is never a hassle. Sign up for their rewards program and enjoy the delicious edibles.Regarding COVID times: The employees are both wearing their masks properly and they do have a bathroom, should you need. There are tables for you to sit and enjoy should you choose to. They did not block off any tables or spaces so you will have to use your discretion. It should also be noted, both the employees also wore gloves as they handled our foods and they have contactless credit card machines to pay.
