My wife is obsessed with cafes/ bakeries, especially if there's a French twist to them. This place is charming and enchanting. It has plenty of seating and a cozy couch, along with free wifi making it a great place to work. The food options are endless. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because too many things looked amazing! The owner is a wonderfully kind woman, she was patient with me and answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations on the best sellers....read full review

I've enjoyed the desserts from here, and the plain croissants, but I decided to try from their Creole Bistro menu yesterday 2/11/23. I'm really glad I did, it was really good! The oxtail was very tender, and the pickled cabbage and carrots were tasty! I was able to get two meals from it, which always makes me happy. I think I might try the fried pork next time. I have been frequenting Cafe du Pain since it opened in 2018. They make classic king cakes which is how I started my adventure with them, but they specialize French and New Orleans style pasty-baking. They also serve quick bites for breakfast and lunch. If I am getting picky, I think that their service can be slow and delayed on days where their baked goods are in high demand, but otherwise they really don't get the attention they should.
