A hidden gem! Tucked in a green suburb of Trenton, comfortable distance from the Turnpike.

Delicious selection of dishes. You've gotta visit to grasp how special this spot is to my family and grand children.

Full bar, of course.

Call for a reservation ahead of time but definitely a staple of the area for home-cooked Italian cuisine!!!

Went in to buy a $200 gift card and was treated very rudely by the man at the bar and change my mind.

Place is run down and has bad energy people working there

Wow. This was my first time here and I was unbelievably impressed. The service was amazing. There are no menus the waiter simply tells you everything that is being prepared that night. Now we're waiter Tom was well versed in the menu. He was able to tell us what was in each dish and make suggestions from first hand experience of tasting the food. The food was amazing. Perfectly prepared and served at a perfect temperature. Everything is à la carte which is Great to be able to pick your meal how you want it. I highly recommend the asparagus salad with cheese. It was out of this world. I had the chicken parm and my wife had The real tips with mushrooms. Both dishes were spectacular. Dessert was fresh and amazing. The pasta dish egg noodles with primo sauce was delectable. I cannot wait to return for our next special occasion.

I could not believe I was at the Homestead! While the salad and the appetizers were really great. I’ve been eating here for 30 years and never had a bad meal. Last night was the exception. Service was horrible, with a clearly new server, who was being abused by the redheaded guy that was running the kitchen. We literally got the Primo pasta because we love it and it was dry with no sauce, not like I’ve had it in the past and I can’t believe they put that food on our plates. The main dish, including the steak and a lamb chop were awful, overcooked and we were told that was the way we ordered it, burnt and like a brick. I don’t think I’ll go back again.

An excellent dining experience in an Historical place! The estate captures the romance of an era gone by with the setting, staff, and menu. The best selection of culinary delights to meet any expectation. The entire experience rates actually much more than 5 star and will forever be a great memory!

We ordered the ribeye. It was very good but way too expensive! They had a fish special which was never offered to us. Regulars at the next table got treated better than us and were offered the special fish. Place looks run down. We will definitely not go back!

Started out bad when I called for reservation, asked if they had a table for 2. The guy who answered said see you and hung up the phone. Heard fantastic things about the restaurant so against my better judgement we still went. It’s basically a dingy old farmhouse, which could be appealing if everything else was great but it just added to the bad experience. One waiter in particular was overall just rude and short with us. The steak and chicken parm were good, the pasta with the special sauce was not great all, tasted like burnt garlic and was super oily. Bill was over $200 to be treated like dirt, would never return.

First time there, and from Trenton. I ordered eggplant parm, no pasta for dietary reasons. It was the smallest portion of eggplant you could imagine drowned in sauce. And I am a small woman, so that says a lot. And as you all know, dining out costs. I was disappointed to say the least. On a positive note, our server had a great personality, great sense of humor.
