El Fogón Colombian Restaurant serves delicious, authentic Colombian food that tastes just like home. The food is great value for the price, with very reasonable portions. Specific meals mentioned include the bandeja paisa, which had good-tasting meat and pork but was hard to chew, and sweet plantains that were also hard to chew. The passion fruit drink, made from real fruit pulp, was really good. The restaurant looks small from the beginning but has a big room on the other side. The restroom is very clean. Service is good and attentive, with staff like Sara, Mafe, Doris, Joanna, and Norbey providing excellent, friendly attention. A downside is the inclusion of an 18% service charge without the waiter informing customers, plus an expectation of additional tips. Music can be a bit loud.
