Caldareta is on point. If you get lucky and have a freshly fried talapia available, get it. Crispy, hot, delicious. Add a little kanin on the side and dayummmmmm that is a tasty meal.
We stopped by this Filipino grill to pick up some "combos" and containers of food to go. We ordered BBQ, chicken adobo, and asado. For dessert, we ordered a sweet mongo and 2 drinks, a sago and cantaloupe. Everything was delicious. I think going there earlier in the day gives the best selection and freshness of food. I came here to get some snacks for work and they are very helpful. I got some ube halaya, cassava cake and some ube pandesal. Wanted to try the Kare Kare but they were still prepping stuff as I went early. The owner I'm assuming was super nice and helpful as I wasn't sure what everything was. Definitely check it out if you're in Edison!
