Italian People’s Bakery is hands down one of the best delis around.
The bread is always fresh, the deli selection is top quality, and their baked goods are consistently amazing. Everything tastes homemade and authentic.
Pricing is fair too, especially considering the quality you get.

I arrived before 8am on a Saturday (12/14/25) when Trenton is still quiet, but I still had to double park outside the Italian People's Bakery, just like everyone else. I walked in thinking I'd buy a half dozen donuts and walked out with 15, plus a giant loaf of bread. I'm not even sure how it happened. I devoured a jelly donut immediately, and it was perfect. When I got home, the family tore into the box. Everything was fresh, and delicious. #DoOrDonut
