Food and service was excellent. I had the special, Shrimp Scampi over couscous. My husband had Lasagna with a side of asparagus. We both loved our entrees. And I love that salad is included. We both had a glass of Montepulciano red wine. Our server, Joe, recommended it, and we weren't disappointed. We shared chocolate cake for dessert. It was moist and delicious. This was our 31st wedding anniversary and we had a great time.
We've been looking for a good Italian restaurant in the area, and finally found it. From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by the host, to being seated at a table with an actual table cloth, to the excellent selection of wines by the glass, to the two veal dishes we had, and the chocolate lava cake with peppermint ice cream, everything was wonderful. Our waitress was excellent. We will be back!
We hosted an absolutely stellar birthday party for about 20 people. The food, service and environment were amazing. This is authentic Italian at its absolute best - will go head to head with best NYC can offer.
