Custom Fit

Scotch Bonnet catered my Father's celebration of life event this weekend. Niel and his team are consummate professionals and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their efforts and amazing food contributed to making this a seamless event and ensuring that my Dad had a fitting send off. Special shout out to Ingrid and Nordia!

The prices are reasonable and the food was good! The only thing I didn't like was the stems in the Callallo, they weren't soft enough or too many. I'll get cabbage next time. A friend referred me to this place for Ackee and Saltfish. I told him my favorite restaurant closed permanently after Covid. I don't play when it comes to my Ackee/Saltfish and Callallo. I'm picky when it comes to food I'm used to. I was afraid to try other places because they don't cook it right. Some places leave the bones in the Saltfish or stems in the Callallo. It was a good experience, I'll continue to come back for the Ackee/Saltfish.

This restaurant is a hit or miss. Today I'm particularly unsatisfied after ordering on Uber eats. The chicken soup tasted burnt! On top of that there was hardly any chicken! The rice and peas tasted like ginger and I got three pieces of plantain as a side. Very displeased and will not be ordering again.

We walked in an ordered jersey pork an chicken. We We left out in the front for a very long time with no update on order. The food was very bad. We could not enjoy the pork because it was very tough. Very hard to chew and not at all edible.the chicken too was tough. I had jersey but this was poor representation.

Tried SBK for the first time tonight and loved it! So excited to have such a great takeout place near me. I'm not an expert in Jamaican cuisine, but we found the food flavorful, well-prepared, and a great deal for the price. The large size entrees are pretty big--enough for me to have leftovers to eat the next day. We recommend the jerk chicken (great flavor and comfortable heat level) and the chicken curry (super tender and flavorful). The plantain side dish is delicious and we also really enjoyed the steamed cabbage and callaloo--both hearty sides that stand on their own.
