Took a little detour on way home from Wildwood to North Jersey. Well worth it. Will definitely go back next time in the area. We ate some hot there and took some home. No favorite. All tied for 1st place. Sorry no photo…all gone.

Quiet little empanada, coffee, and dessert take-out restaurant. The inside is completely remodeled. Everything is clean and neat. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and prices are very fair!

We finally got to try Lokotas Empanadas, and we loved every single one of the flavors! The Argentine beef and spicy chicken were absolute favorites—the spicy chicken had the best kick to it. We got them during the FIFA special (buy 10, get 2 free), which I thought was a great deal. Since they advertise gelato, of course I had to get a scoop of dulce de leche, and it was excellent.
