Piero's Italian Restaurant & Banquet Hall

The low ratings are based on the fact that the restaurant was closed. Our reservation was supposedly received and I got 2 confirmations via email. When we arrived it was closed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were so disappointed.

I have not been to Piero's Resuin many years. The open table app is easy to use and confirmation of reservation was sent immediately. My party was greeted immediately by friendly hostess. The menu had a wide variety of dining choices and our meal was perfectly executed and found delicious from appetizers to main entrees. The portions were large and presentation was well done. Service was attentive and I not wait long to return again soon !

Went in on a Saturday, restaurant fully empty except for one table. Asked if we had reservations, we said we didn't. After much hemming and hawing by manager, we were seated at the bar next to the kitchen door. Friendly bartender took care of us, but food was only average and prices were sky-high, including an additional $5 for using a credit card.The clincher is that the entire time we were there only one other table arrived for dinner. Not into being treated like a nuisance at such a high price point. New to area and definitely won't be going back.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in NJ. Go out and support this place. The chef here cooks with absolute love for his guests. The place is so cozy and quiet. The staff are great and the food is to die for!!

Wonderful food and great dirty martinis. Staff is is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their food. Would definitely recommend.

My family has been Piero’s customers for years. On Father’s Day weekend, we had a reservation for dinner at Piero’s on Saturday. A few days before our dinner, I got a call saying that the restaurant was booked for a private party on Saturday and that our reservation was being moved to Sunday. My family and I didn’t mind at all, we were still very excited for our dinner. However, when we got to Piero’s, we didn’t have as great of an experience as we had hoped. We were one of only two parties at Piero’s that evening, despite it being Father’s Day. The service wasn’t great, as it usually is. It almost seemed as if the restaurant was not open to the public, only to those who had their reservations pushed to Sunday. It was very clear that the staff was not happy to have us there. Very disappointing experience. I’m sad to say that after years of being Piero’s customers, my family will not be returning.

I’ve eaten at Piero’s since I was 8 or 9 years old, I’m 41 now & love every bite to this day. Sadly I now live in Florida so I can’t eat there as much as I’d like. The Al Arriabiata Con Gamberi is fantastic, I also highly recommend the calamari. The setting & decor at Piero’s is truly beautiful & makes you feel as though you were actually transported to Italy for a wonderful dining experience. I’ve never had a nasty waiter or waitress, everyone who works there is super warm & friendly. I seriously cannot wait to return, thank you all so much for your hard work. Piero’s has always been one of my fondest memories of living in NJ

Highly recommend! We booked a room at Piero’s Restaurant for a baby shower. Living over an hour away, we were unable to visit prior to the shower but Lauren went above and beyond to make sure that not only were our expectations met, but exceeded. Lauren sent plenty of pictures to help give us an idea of what to expect. She kept in touch months leading up to the shower to ensure everything was ready for our arrival. Our room was immaculate and ready for our “finishing touch” upon arrival. Lauren was helpful from start to finish, whether it was assisting us with last-minute accommodations or checking in to make sure everything was going well. All guests were over the moon with the menu selections, as well as dessert choices offered. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food - we will certainly be returning!

Piero's was one of our go to places for dinner over the years but we haven't been back there since the pandemic hit. My wife and I recently got our COVID vaccine, so we decided to be "WILD" and go out to dinner last Saturday night. From what I know, the seating setup at Piero's is compliant. That is, each table was spaced at least 6 feet from each other. It appears that the staff has been reduced since there was only 2 people waiting on the customers, bussing the tables when they turned over and bartended as needed. Normally this would have been a disaster but these 2 young ladies were working at full speed. On top of that, they were pleasant which is a big plus even without a pandemic. The menu also appeared to be cutback. However, the menu choices were adequate for most people. But both our meals were very tasty and enjoyable as we remembered from years ago. Overall, we waited a little longer than normal to get our drinks, meals and dessert but certainly understandable due to the circumstances. Piero's will again be one of our go to places especially when this pandemic eases.
